I had contact with Rock Estates and was left with a very poor impression. Communication was unprofessional and unreliable, with messages going unanswered and no closure provided.
Being ignored after initial contact shows a lack of basic courtesy and does not reflect well on how the business operates. I would expect a much higher standard of professionalism from an established estate agency.

Rock Estates have been incredible! This was my first time selling a property, and after a terrible experience with another local agent - no viewings, no communication apart from being told to lower the price - I wondered if all estate agents were the same. The moment Emma visited, she put all my worries to rest. Her attention to detail and the care she brings to every stage of the process has been exceptional.
Within the first couple of weeks, I had multiple viewings and three offers. I accepted an offer just above the asking price - what more could I ask for? Since then, Emma has stayed in touch throughout, and the communication has been excellent. The house is due to complete this week!
We’re also trying to sell my partner’s home in the Colchester area. He has used several local agents, but after instructing Rock Estates a couple of weeks ago, he already has viewings lined up.
As a couple, being able to sell both our properties through Rock Estates so we can purchase our first home together would be amazing.
I genuinely can’t recommend Rock Estates enough - they approach estate agency differently, and it’s exactly what the industry needs.

Sold the house in 6 Days. Yes really. But only because of Rock Estates in Needham Market. Emma Knights was brilliant. She gave us a realistic valuation of our house and explained why she valued it at that price. We went with her valuation. She took a range of fantastic photographs and sold the house (STC) within 6 days. We also met Oscar who did the viewing. Very friendly young man with a great personality. Emma is brilliant on the communications, I contacted her a few times for help and info, she always delivered and has numerious brilliant contacts too. Emma was also exceptional at contacting the right people at the appropriate time to 'smooth' the whole process along. She really is brilliant at her job, all you need do is listen when she speaks, and (honestly) follow what she suggests. She is an exceptional Estate Agent, and she works for Rock Estates. Rock Estates sold our property within a week of it being on the market. When our buyer lost their job and the chain collapsed Rock Estates then sold our property for the second time within a matter of weeks.

The service we received right from the start was outstanding!! Emma, Laura and Oscar (who worked tirelessly carrying out our viewings for us - 11 in total) were super friendly, extremely efficient and great communicators too; a WhatsApp group was set up for us to keep us updated and their communication was on point and timely. We sold in 6 days, and 8 weeks later, we’re in our new home! If I could leave a 10* review, I would! Emma was amazing throughout the whole process and helped us find our perfect first home! We don’t know what we would have done without her! We had been to view so many different homes with so many different agents and Emma was miles and miles better than the others agents in the area. She completely debunked the negative stereotype around estate agents and puts so much time, care and attention into every viewing!

Rock didn’t keep me updated at all. They promised multiple viewings before agreeing and in reality it turned out to be 1 viewing in 5 weeks. Which I had to chase for feedback.
Then once I contacted them to say I would be terminating they suggested a re-launch to boost viewings.
To little to late the communication was very poor throughout it was always me chasing.

Choosing Emma at Rock Eststes to sell our house was simply the best decision ever. We has previously been with another local estate agent who were quite frankly useless. When it came to switching agents we literally grilled Emma on just how she would go about selling our house and how her company are different to others. She answered every question truthfully and made no false promises. From day 1 we were kept in the loop - regular messages to keep us updated! Emma is an absolute professional who works extremely hard. I would 100% recommended Rock Eststes - they put the extra work in and go that extra mile for their clients. They do not just stick a property on Rightmove and hope it sells itself (like many other agents who shall remain nameless.)
