I’ve recently been tasked with obtaining valuations on a property with a view to a possible sale. The clients requested I used several different companies, and Rosie Fraser was their first suggestion.
In the end, they decided not to sell right now, but the exercise was most instructive. While all four people I saw were very professional, I was most impressed by Ashleigh from Rosie Fraser, who seemed to have the most positive approach, as well as the most detailed knowledge of nearby properties and their recent sale prices.
Where the others had left the next steps rather general, Ashleigh offered far more information and an overall plan on how to progress if the sale were to go ahead, explaining how the rest of her team would also be involved in the loop so that if she weren’t immediately available to answer questions or give advice, someone else would.
I was made aware that this same open process would extend to buyers as well, which seems to me a fine way of working. The choice wasn’t mine to make, but had it been, I would have definitely have chosen Rosie Fraser and Ashleigh, as I’m sure the care and attention I received would have been extended to any prospective buyer, too

We were recommended Rosie Fraser, we hadn’t sold a house before and we’re struggling with what to do, I called Rosie Fraser’s office and from that point it was absolutely exceptional service and most importantly politeness received.
One of Rosie’s team came to the house by appointment, turned up promptly and had a look around, we chatted over options and answered our many questions satisfactorily.
The team set up a WhatsApp group and kept us fully informed, the team couldn’t be more helpful, these guys make it look effortless.
The whole process faultless!

I requested for Rosie Fraser to host the viewers, so thanks for to Ashleigh and Jack, who hosted the viewers who came to my house to view my property.
When I firstly spoke with Rosie Fraser, Ashleigh went through all the costs which she wrote it all down, so I knew exactly what my fees would be, so that was great so I signed up this estate agent right away and the for sale signs were erected within two days which was impressive.

My experience with Rosie Fraser Real Estate was, unfortunately, deeply disappointing. From the outset, I was assured that their services would provide a seamless and stress-free experience. Regrettably, this promise was not upheld, and the process was far from smooth. It became clear early on that choosing this agency to sell my property was a regrettable decision.
While it would be time-consuming to outline every issue I encountered, the most significant concern was the poor communication and their failure to follow through on my instructions. Additionally, prospective buyers reported difficulties in scheduling viewings, which they attributed to communication breakdowns within the agency. This raised concerns about how many potential buyers may have been lost due to these issues. Despite raising my concerns multiple times, there was little to no improvement. In fact, I was informed by one staff member that I was not the only client to have raised similar complaints, which suggests that these issues are not isolated. This may help explain why other clients have also chosen to part ways with the company and engage other agencies.
During the two months I worked with Rosie Fraser Real Estate, I never felt valued as a client. It seemed that their priority was securing the next sale to boost their figures, rather than delivering the "personal, reliable" service they claim to offer in their marketing. After numerous attempts to address the issues, I had no choice but to terminate my agreement with them and engage a new estate agent. Within days, my property was marketed effectively, and firm offers were on the table within a week, resulting in a stress-free sale.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Rosie Fraser Real Estate to anyone seeking to buy, sell, or rent in the Tayside area. Regrettably, I wish I had chosen a different agency from the start. However, this experience has been a valuable lesson.

PLEASE READ:
I recently tried to sell my flat on Perth Road through Rosie Fraser, and my experience was extremely disappointing. My flat was located in the hottest area of the West End of Dundee, featuring two bedrooms, a lovely kitchen and living room, and was in excellent condition - aside from a few windows that would need replacing in the next 5-10 years. It was also fully furnished for sale. However, Rosie Fraser failed to sell it.
I was assured by the selling agent, Jimmy, that my flat would be sold within a month. He even advised that the scaffolding up for a new roof would not be a problem - if anything, he said it would be a positive aspect for potential buyers.
However, my property was on the market for six weeks, and I received not a single offer.
Throughout the process, communication was a major issue. I made several email and phone calls to Rosie and her team during the six weeks voicing my concerns, but nothing changed.
I had to push for over a week just to get a summary of viewings.
There was no 'for sale' sign for the first three weeks!? Jimmy later apologised for this, claiming it was an oversight.
This made me wonder what else might have been overlooked during the process...
After I paid my marketing fees, communication completely dropped off for ten days, despite being told that a holiday for my selling agent would not disrupt the process since the 'team' would handle everything.
In reality, there was no team, and I received no communication during that time. Poor service resumed and was recurring throughout the entire experience.
When I finally decided to withdraw my property from the market after six weeks of no progress, I went to collect my keys. Rosie, the owner of the company, asked, "Oh, did you buy the property?"...
After reading a number of negative reviews, Rosie Fraser look to defend themselves by claiming to be a small biz experiencing fast growth. A poor excuse.
In hindsight, I probably should've checked the reviews before engaging with them, as potential buyers have reported similar bad experiences which is never a good sign for a seller!
Overall, my experience with Rosie Fraser was marked by inadequate communication, unprofessionalism, and a lack of effective systems.
I would advise anyone looking to sell their property to consider other options.

This review is purely as a potential buyer and not as someone using their services to sell a home or value a home. I'm giving 1 star due to extremely poor communication from this company. For 3 days straight no one answered their Dundee office phone, which automatically transfers somewhere else. 3 times I had to give contact details, why I was calling, and to get told that they would "urgently" have the office call me back and would "escalate" so someone would be in touch since I was interested in a property. No one ever got in touch. I then tried a 4th time and finally got through to Dundee to have no record of me and to be told "We've been busy". No place is too busy to spare a few minutes calling a potential client.
