I have only positive things to say about my experience with Russell Collins. I had the unfortunate job of selling my sister’s property in Ealing after she died. She left instructions to sell her house through Ray at Russell Collins due to his knowledge of the market and because he is a kind, decent estate agent. She was absolutely right. We recently sold our property with Ray at Russell Collins and couldn't have been happier with the efficient and personal service that we received.
The buyer's solicitors were a little tricky to work with but Ray was on hand at every step of the way to answer their many questions and concerns and also to keep us informed and more importantly calm through the process.
While some estate agents seem quite impersonal and also robotic, Ray is very approachable and you feel as if he is a friend that is 100% on your side. We definitely asked him a LOT of questions throughout the process and he was always quick to respond with his thoughts or an answer.
Ray also went above and beyond to help push the sale along and as we were selling remotely (we live abroad) he even collected mail and meter readings for us from the property. It's the small things like that which make Ray and Russell Collins stand out and I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to buy or sell in their catchment area. 5 STARS! *****

I was a first time buyer so the whole process was initially quite daunting, but Mandy helped massively with working out what my requirements actually were and was great at putting up with my uncertainty and inexperience with the process. Their huge knowledge of the local market was incredibly useful throughout, as was their openness about what sellers were expecting. After the offer and even completion they have continued to be massively helpful, including passing on questions to the seller and recommendations for local solicitors and tradespeople.

Spotted Ray actively trying to sell the house 3 weeks after we had a sale agreed. Slow to put sale agreed online and put a for sale sign up after agreeing the sale. Zero trust and seems to think it’s a game to play with people’s life savings. Very unprofessional. However Mandy was really nice and professional but unfortunately seemed to be overruled when dealing with us which was disappointing.

Truly outstanding service from the whole team at Russell Collins, but in particular Ray Upcraft, who made us feel at ease throughout the whole process - frequent and clear communication, honest advice from their vast experience in the industry, and the sense they were continually fighting for you and on your side.
The most important thing for me was the open lines of communication, and the feeling I could speak to Ray or the team at any time. More often than not, I wouldn't need to chase, because Ray and the team are so on top of things, so they've already emailed you an update anyway!
The process for buying/selling/renting property is usually a headache, mainly (in my experience at least) due to cowboy estate agents and the constant bluffing and dishonest sales tactics - but this was genuinely never the case with Ray and the team. Would highly recommend for a smoother, more professional, and quite frankly honest experience without the bull****

The letting team are all really wonderful. (Shout out to Paula and Dean!) They're kind, personable are very communicative.
Ngl, our flat did have a lot of maintenance needs throughout our tenancy, but the management team would always start the repairs/extermination process as soon as we emailed them. Usually issues were fixed within a week to a month depending what it is.
My only other comment is that they have to facilitate so many properties, that follow ups are occasionally needed. But they will respond! They're much better than most management companies.

We have dealt with Russell Collins 3 times over the past 5 or so years and I cannot recommend them enough. We rented a flat from them, bought our first flat through them and have now sold our flat through them too. The service is incredible - any query we had was dealt with quickly (any issues with the rented flat were also dealt with very quickly) and without sounding like a cliche they are not the "typical" estate agents. They care a lot that you are satisfied and understand very quickly what you want and how to help get you there but are also honest in terms of expectations.
Selling or buying is stressful but I have constantly felt reassured by Ray and always felt we were in safe hands - the whole team have been amazing!
The service to date has been truly faultless and if we come to sell our next place, we would do it through them! Equally if we ever needed to rent anywhere or rent our place we would only do it through them.

The sale took some time as we had a bad experience with our first prospective buyer and Ray kept positive throughout guiding us throughout with his experience and knowledge . It was an emotional experience as this had been our childhood family home. Ray was not only sensitive to this but incredibly supportive throughout the process. He went above and beyond helping to find an available builder when work on the porch was needed and even providing a garden overhaul when we realised the sale had had fallen through and the house needed a brush up before being put back on the market.
