I was recently served a notice and Louise has been really helpful and supportive throughout. She has helped me find a lovely new home and the moving process has been very quick, this making things a lot easier for me during what has been a difficult time. Louise and the team have answered all of my questions and have been really friendly. I’m glad I can stay as a tenant with Sally Botham Estates because I know they will look after me and be here to help me whenever I need anything.

Having quite negative experiences with other estate agents recently I can say that Sally Botham’s have been excellent! There has been reliable and regular communication, all staff have been friendly and helpful. Brochure had good quality pictures/video and accurate details. Tom Alberts was perfect in all aspects of the sale, monitoring all stages in a proactive manner and communicating rather than just hoping progress is being made. Very happy with the service provided from this estate agents and would certainly recommend them for a better experience.

Great experience with the team at Sally Botham! - especially Tom Alberts who went above and beyond on several occasions on our behalf. Very disappointing experience.
I contacted Sally Botham Estate Agents for a property appraisal back in April and, despite chasing multiple times, I received no response. The lack of communication and follow-up is appalling.
If they can’t even provide an appraisal, it really makes you question how they would manage the sale or rental of your home. Would not recommend based on this experience.

There was a delay on one occasion presumably caused by Tom being away on paternity leave and no-one in the office noticing that my buyer had responded positively.
Sally Botham did a first class job overall particularly the photographic work.

Very poor service! Had a flat viewing booked in Matlock over a day in advance for 11:30am. They phoned at 9:55am the morning of the viewing to confirm we would be attending. Paid £25 for the train and started making my way over only for them to cancel at 10:55am when I am just about to arrive in Matlock.
I hate to ever leave a bad review. However, this is absolutely unacceptable service.
What a waste of time and a considerable amount of money for nothing. It should not be an option to cancel a viewing this close to the appointed time, especially without good reason. I was not given good reason for this!

My partner and I booked a viewing with them for 11:30, an agent called us at 09:55am to confirm we were attending, we made our way out, getting a train and I’d come from a nightshift. They cancelled at 10:44 with a poor excuse. Super disappointed and wasted money. Will not be booking anything with this company.

From helping us with finding a house, even though we are only renting, to finalising all the paperwork leaving us hassle free, to the inspection (providing peace of mind for us as tenants and the landlord. Every part of their service has been delivered with warmth, compassion, efficiency and promptly. The only agents worth using in the area in my personal opinion. Be wary of the withdrawal fees. Should never have signed up with them, worst agency I've ever dealt with. I would not even buy a property through them, that's how bad my experience has been.

Property on offer was over priced and many properties seem to have to go through price reduction to sell. Rentals also seemed highly priced. As a seller I'd prefer realistic pricing and a quicker sale completion. As a buyer I'm put off by inflated sales pricing and will buy through other EA's .

I couldn't recommend Sally Botham Estates highly enough. They dealt with the sale of my late father's property which was fraught with problems, including a historic mapping error at Land Registry which had resulted in a neighbor incorrectly becoming the legal owner of part of the property. Their proactive help and advice to me, and their liaison with my solicitor and the buyer to eventually get the problems satisfactorily resolved was fantastic. Definitely not your average estate agent! They consistently offered good, sound advice. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and always a friendly voice at the end of the phone.

Try your best to avoid this agency and the landlord of the property they are trying to rent out at 5 Thatchers lane tansley.
My father was renting this property until he sadly lost his life on the 19th of June this year.
What then happened after really defined this agency and the landlords they deal with.
The Agency came across all nice and lovely but on reflection now we realise this wasn't the case.
When we finally got into the property my father was renting we would receive regular calls as to what we were doing (basically asking when we would be out).
My father had paid his rent till a certain date and of course we would be leaving but would have to remove all his items,
as we don't live in area.
There was alot of worked involved.
Then on top of this between the agency and the landlord they have tried to cause as much stress as possible to his grieving children.
We can only assume this came direct from agents themselves, the landlord stated that our Father was deceased at property ( this was not the case).
This was definitely not the case and an awful assumption to make even more so that it was reapted for his children to hear.
Then you think it can't possibly get any worse it does.
After dealing with the deposit with the DPS through a log the landlord decided that he wanted to take money from a dead man who broke his breech of contract.
Will just state here my father was taken away in an ambulance fully continuous not knowing he was going to die.
Anyway the landlord took money for cleaning as my father didn't stick to his agreement and clean the property as he vacated.
Then on top of this all he wanted to take money for gardening.
Well confirmed by neighbours and my father when he was alive this was in his tenancy agreement that he didn't maintain this the owner did.
Anyway the landlord took an entire month after we disputed it (we have now be branded liars by that agency that we didn't dispute).
After a month the landlord took £42 to trim back some hedges.
Further to this we were told it wasn't in tenancy agreement.
Complete lie again.
Friends rang on our behalf the agency and we're told that garden is maintained by owner, then this was confirmed in email to me that it was indeed in the tenancy agreement.
Therefore this landlord and agency breaking their breech of contract with my father.
Outlined they took my father's money for their Own greeddiness.
This has now left us no choice but to go down a legal route but just to make you all aware be very careful about using them and Defiantly be careful of the doggy landlord at 5 thatchers lane!!!
