After a slightly shaky start, Sally Harrison Estate Agents were amazing when we were selling our property in Barnoldswick. Any agents can do the photos and marketing required but the support we got from Sally Harrisons was great. They kept us informed right through the process, did viewings even at the weekend, and helped when things went wrong by chasing up solicitors etc. I would definitely recommend them.

All the agents we dealt with failed to grasp basic concepts of valuation and negotiation, avoided getting involved in difficult conversations - to the point of simply ignoring emails - and delayed the sale process significantly. In a day and age where people seem all too keen to post about bad experiences, I always take the opportunity to post when I have had a good experience, and this is one of those occasions.
In March of this year I needed to put a property on the market and after speaking with a couple of other estate agents opted to go with Sally Harrison Estate Agents. There were numerous reasosn for this, not least because many moons ago my mother had dealt with Sally herself, albeit in a previous role, but more importantly because of the confidence that I received from speaking with them. This was particularly important to me as I live away and needed to know that I would be properly represented.
If I now fast forward to a post sale situation I can sum up what it is about Sally Harrison Estate Agents that worked for me and made my life in respect of the sale stress free and my email to Sally Harrison below sums it up.
"This is just a quick note to say a huge thank you to the team you have at Sally Harrison Estate Agents, they really are exceptional. My biggest fear when selling mum’s house while living away was that I wouldn’t be there, which sounds obvious I know, but I felt there might be a communication gap simply because I couldn’t pop in or from prior experience elsewhere, keep the pressure on!
As it turned out, I needn’t have worried, as without exception, everyone at Sally Harrison Estate Agents provided me with an excellent level of customer service, keeping me informed and putting me at ease, I always knew where matters were up to and what the next steps would be so providing me with a flawless and faultless experience.
Thank you seems completely inadequate, but it really is a heartfelt thank you."

I do not often write reviews but on this occasion I decided to do so.
We were in Barnoldwick to clear and sell my sister in laws property. After researching local house sales on the internet I contacted 5 different estate agents. On the 10th of September I choose Sally Harrison Estate Agents to sell the property. My reasons are,
1 The honesty in deciding what was a true valuation of the property at that moment in time. They did not suggest inflated prices just to get the business.
2 I got the distinct impression; because they were local estate agents they had a far better knowledge and understanding of the current market.
3 They also showed me that the total service they were offering was in my opinion, by far the best, covering every aspect of the sale from start to finish. This included conducting viewings 7 days a week and dealing with recommended solicitors and contractors to carry out all legal requirements for the sale. This was very important to me because we were living 250 miles away and if unforeseen issues did arise I was not in close proximaty to deal with them.
Within a week we had had several offers which were politely regected then one of the potential buyers offered the asking price which was then accepted. From then on Sally Harrison covered everything as promised, dealing with Solicitors and sorting out the EP certificate for the property. During this period we were constantly updated on all aspects of the sale. Finally on the 3rd of November to our delight the solicitor rang to say the property was now sold. It took less than 2 months. We cannot thank Sally Harrison and all her Staff enough for thier honesty and professionalism throughout this sale.
Question: Would I recommend Sally Harrison Estate Agents.

Very unprofessional for an estate agents. My husband booked a valuation with them and they confirmed the date a week earlier. He had paid for a train ticket from London in order to show them house. They cancelled 3 days before the appointment by a text message stating that they “feel that our better option for more ready buyers will be a Colne estate agent” My husband lost out on £110 because of this
