Appalling agency, staffed by amateurs it seems. Some major flaws in their promises, and their overall management of the sale. Seemingly ‘known’ locally for their approach to sales. The longest 6month contract i’ve known. Called within 2 weeks to see if we would LET the property ?? failed (miserably) a ‘secret shopper’ test if their incompetence. I really am not surprised that they do not have their own review site. Steer clear at all costs !

A Patronising man (Andrew Sharman) randomly passed my needs onto a different branch, without my permission or warning, half way through selling my house. I had to stop my fiance from snatching the phone a few times due to this man's poor attitude towards me. He made it very clear that he thought any question I had was stupid and tried to push me to do things I didn't understand or want to do. I'm glad he gave me to someone else when I started giving the attitude back because things actually got done and my questions were answered ???? avoid hampton if you want unbiased support.
Reply: No miscommunication unfortunately. I'll just leave it there and hopefully no one else gets treated the same.

Shocking in terms of transparency and honesty. house was sold without issue, agreed fee then after they had been paid I was chased for more money because “I chose not to use there conveyancing” which is not aloud and was slapped with a penalty for this. Discusting company and I’m pretty sure I dealt with the boss man at that! Never again

My experience of the sales side has been variable but - Rebecca - whose knowledge of her area and the housing market in general, is spot on and, she is pleasure to deal with. As a first time buyer, I really didn't have a clue on alot of things but Christina was a great help when we were looking for property until we had our offer accepted.

Christina has been very helpful through the initial interest, viewings and making offers and starting the buying process. As a first time buyer, it's nice having someone available to answer questions in a clear manner, as well as making sure you're aware of details in the process even if you do not ask about it.
The fees are slightly higher than some others, however, through Christina and Junior they have got the property secured at a good price very quickly and have increased my mortgage affordability so it's a small price to pay in the long run. Would highly recommend.

We found the whole process quite easy.
They found us a buyer within 6 days of being on the market and we had found our new home with 2 weeks of that.
Because everything was in house it was pretty straightforward even with the current covid restrictions.

Sharman Quinney Orton have been fantastic from putting our house on the market to selling it all within 7 weeks! Brad was our main contact and he couldn't of been more helpful, he arranged plenty of viewings, communicated well after each one, polite and just generally a great guy, also pleased to learn this was his first sale! Dale and Victoria were also very helpful from taking the photo's to assisting with viewings and gathering everything up at the end! This guy was in constant communication by phone and email and could not have got the application completed any quicker or any smoother then how we did. Through the whole process he made my life very easy! We all know that filling out forms and applications can be a right pain but Luca made it all seem so easy. Even at exchange Luca was the first email congratulating us. Nice guy all round. Can not recommend highly enough!

A thoroughly professional organisation from the moment they came to my house. I received a very detailed account of how they would sell my property - including the market research to back up their proposal - as well as a clear explanation of their fees. They also provided me with an in-depth understanding of the scale and structure of their organisation along with their large share of the local market.
Included in the price was a professional photographer who delivered stunning pictures which, along with SQ's property video, really helped to make my house stand out online.
They had several viewings lined up before my property even went live. In fact my buyer was one of the first viewers and made an over-asking offer less than a week after I initially instructed SQ.
I also used their in house conveyancing which is mostly online and incredibly easy to use.
I was kept up to date with the sale progress by both the estate agency and conveyancing teams, and everyone who I spoke to was knowledgeable and courteous.
Overall, the fees were slightly more than some of their competitors but I feel this was money well spent for the quality and speed of the service provided.

I started my home selling journey in December and exchanged in June. This means that I have had plenty of time to experience the staff and processes of Sharman Quinney and I am wholly in support of them all. The signing up process was made simple and was done in a friendly and informative manner. The viewings period followed with respect for my circumstances, fitting around me, but still getting the job done. These things have to be both ways if you want to sell your house, so I was equally flexible and listened and responded to the experience of the staff and comments about improvements or otherwise to get the house sold. Then, after my offer, I was kept up to date with information. If I felt that I needed an update and sometimes I was quite stressed in the way I communicated this, I was always met with a friendly and polite response to my queries, either by email or phone. Even now, after exchange, the staff have not just dismissed me as a 'job done/money paid'. If I had not sold my house, it would not have been about the efforts, experience or quality of the staff and I would still have given a positive review.
