Jacob has been the most helpful and patient estate agent we've had the pleasure of dealing with, and believe me, there's been quite a few!
Jacob understood exactly the type of property we were looking for from our the first meeting. He suggested multiple properties that matched our criteria and were available for viewings, making our experience so much easier because we didn't have to spend hours trawling through properties sites anymore.

Struggled to get my deposit back from TDS for no reason. Landlord unfairly wanted to take the whole deposit and they did not support me at all. TDS get me my money after 4 months!!

My family & I are looking to relocate to Peterborough and needed help finding the right home. Chelsea was absolutely amazing in arranging viewings and getting our home arranging a valuation within 3 days from another branch from our area. She also arranged a mortgage advise appointment within the same week as we are first time buyers a lot of new information and legalities needed to be discussed noting was too much trouble. Chelsea was very patient and on the ball getting every appointment, piece information and knowledge we required. We sold our house with Sharman Quinney, the team were fantastic. Matt's market knowledge was excellent and Beth successfully negotiated getting us more than our asking price (more than we expected). Junior was amazing from start to finish. His knowledge of the market and sourcing the right mortgage for our dream property was superb.
He was always quick to respond to our queries and concerns and helped put our mind at ease. The information was always explained in detail and in a way that we could understand.

The whole team were Very professional and friendly from start to finish! Matt was the only agent out of all the other agencies we asked to attend our valuation who acted in a very professional manner with the correct PPE. He wasn’t pushy and very helpful and informative.

Matt was very knowledgable and friendly. He also took great photographs of the house which led to several viewings within 24hours facilitated by Beth.
Our house was sold within 36hours of the advert going on Rightmove, and we received great support liaising with solicitors through to the day we moved.

Unreliable company, saying that property is ok, and on purchase day gave keys with note slip that there is no gas, electricity, boiler doesn't work. And now is not their responsibility. Check everything with this company, don',t trust their word, unhelpfull people. Poor service.

I found this branch to be totally incompetent. The Manager, Charlotte, appears vague, didn't convey confidence or show any urgency in moving the sale forward. SQ provided a hopeless service (even the negotiation resulted in error with further costs to us of £10,000 instead of £5,000) all in all a total shambles. Without doubt the most stressful sale I've experienced and I've had many. Instruct them at your peril!

We sold our house using this agent and were not happy with the time it took to sell and price we ended selling it for. The agent was confident the house would sell for around 20% more than final price. However, we had to pay commission that was originally agreed for the higher price. They claimed that they have customers looking for houses in our area, but brought very few viewing perhaps due to discouraging buyers with requests for all personal information. Several houses in worse condition with smaller land and worse location have sold for higher price while our house was advertised with them. Due to sole agency agreement we couldn’t switch to another agent.
We asked for the sign not to be raised in front of our house, but they ignored us and did it anyway.
We also bought the house through them previously and at that time their solicitors didn’t pass cashback from bank to us.
Overall, best to avoid- overpriced and incompetent.

Was refused a viewing on a property based on the fact I didn't want (or importantly need) to use their mortgage advisor. I showed them a mortgage in principle but this wasn't enough. I was refused a look at one of their properties. I wrote a letter to their head office, their reply was that they didn't care (I have a copy of the letter still) and the branch I complained about rang me telling me I had lied. Zero stars!
I will never buy or sell a house through Sharman Quinney.

We were very interested in a house they were representing. We put in an offer and waited 4 days. We were told in the mean time we had to visit with there mortgage advisor. We expressed that we did not require their services and were told it was only to verify our finances (or agreement in principle).
After not hearing about our offer, we were told that the seller would not agree to anything before meeting with their advisor and that we'd need 6 months of financial documents to support our offer.
Now there is no way in hell this is required and seems like a shoddy way to get us to use their services. We expressed this and were told it was the only way the offer would go forward. We were also given excuses such as "They aren't sure they really want to sell." "They may want more money but need to see if you can support your original offer." At this point, not willing to release our personal info to the company without any confirmation on if our offer was accepted we asked to withdraw our offer. They refused to withdraw it and said they would call us back.
We found this incredible and will avoid Sharman Quinney from here on out.

Bullish, Harrassing and the epitome of bad estate agents. Would not leave me alone. I have posted this on my friends account so they don't go after me again. I'm disgusted at the sales tactics these people use to try and get your sale from you. Forcing you to speak to their mortgage advisor, pressuring you to go with them... Sharman Quinney Stanground need to go back to sales school and realise that you don't have to pressurise and bully people to get the stats in - Sales tactics are so incredibly see-through and OLD!! Don't use them!!!!!

Probably loved it is not the phrase i'd use for house buying, however 5 stars should be given for sure.
And its true Estate Agents get some bad press and there where aspects of the purchase which could of been improved upon and these where noted and discussed as and when, credit where credit's due, if you get to get to use this particular branch of Sharman Quinney you are in the right hands, unfortunately the previous owner of the property we purchased, was the most disorganized idiot you could ever wish to have dealings with, in particular credit also needs to be given to Joanne the lady who handled our transaction, she acted in the most professional manor attempting to keep us informed when required and information could be extracted from the seller and their sorry excuse for solicitors they chose to use. I wish the team at Stanground Sharman Quinney Estate Agents all the very best for the future....
