Overall, very disappointed in the service from SP Sales and Lettings. We had high hopes at the start, staff were polite and answered all questions which was promising. As we went through the process, Karen was rude and her conduct was below that we were expecting given the positive start. Amongst a number of concerns, this was my most serious. Karen forwarded me an email from our seller sent to her about a recent damp report we had paid for. Unfortunately for Karen, she forward the full email chain between herself and our seller where she was congratulating the seller on obtaining information from the damp report behind our back by going directly to the company. Prior to this, I asked Karen if she would be passing on the details of our damp proof specialist and she vehemently said she would not. Due to a lack of knowledge on how to forward emails without the full email chain, we exposed the full extent of this breach. We had actually given the company permission to pass this information on to our seller, however Karen was under the impression we were none the wiser and did nothing to notify us of this. I collected the keys from Karen and she could not have got me out of the office quick enough, given her abruptness and at times rudeness on the phone I was expecting her to be willing to discuss this further. I appreciate mistakes are made, however this was dishonesty and a stupid mistake from somebody which exposed it.... Read more

I did not get the service I expected when I choose SP sales out of a choice of 3. I really did not want to do the viewings and was assured that they would take care of all that when they came and did the appraisal, but then only to be told they had no one available after they had listed the property. I was also upset that an offer had been made and he was told they would contact me about it the next day, even though he had only just viewed the house and really wanted it.
