Stack&Bonner introduced several good quality interested buyers for part of my moorings promenade (an unusual type of sale!).
In the end a fair offer was made and concluded for the whole promenade by an excellent buyer.
The assigned agent, Chris Slawson, was especially good at advising me, keeping me informed of progress and following up with the solicitors and other parties involved to get the deal over the line in a timely fashion.
Highly recommended and I am looking to do more business with them soon.

Unfortunately, my experience with this agency was extremely disappointing and stressful from beginning to end. We had been renting the property for 2 years when the flat was sold. The first email I received from the new landlord and this agency stated: “Here is the new bank account to pay the rent. We are increasing the rent, and if you do not agree, we are giving you until January to move out.”
After consulting with my lawyer, I informed them that my contract was still valid, and we should only discuss any changes near its end. Only after several lengthy emails did they finally accept this.
During our tenancy, we had an issue with the hot water. I spoke with the concierge, and when maintenance came, they said a part needed to be replaced. The concierge told me they had informed the agency. I also emailed the agency directly, but they took so long to respond that we were left without hot water for a significant time.
They later listed the property at a much higher rent than we were paying – even though the flat next door was advertised for significantly less. This shows how they try to manipulate the market with overpriced listings to raise rental expectations.
When moving out, despite there being no mention in our contract, they insisted we hire a professional cleaning service. I did as they asked and kept the receipt. We even moved out three days early and informed them. I left the key with the concierge, as requested. After cleaning, I personally inspected the flat and made sure everything was in perfect condition. Still, they emailed me a photo of someone wiping a windowsill to show a small amount of dust — clearly trying to find a reason to delay the deposit.
Thankfully, I had taken photos and videos before leaving and shared them, along with the cleaning invoice. They then asked for a different kind of receipt. Only after all this stress and back-and-forth did they return the deposit.
Before moving out, I told them I may receive packages after we leave and that I would collect them since I was moving nearby. Still, they threw away my packages without informing me. Even my letters are missing — I have no idea what they did with them. Personal belongings were discarded without my consent.
This is not my first time renting, but I’ve never had such a poor experience. Despite informing the concierge, the agency claimed to have taken the packages and mail to their office, but when I went there, they said everything had been thrown away. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is unacceptable.
Even if I liked the property, I would never rent through this agency again, and I strongly advise others to avoid them as well.

I have been a tenant with S&B for the last 18 months. I have paid my rent on time and kept the property in immaculate condition. However over the last month I have been left with no hot water in my property. My property manager Lauren Doran has washed her hands of the issue and said she is unable to help in any way. I have been offered no alternative arrangements for access to hot water and there is still no timeline for the issue to be fixed. S&B have sent plumbers four times, the first being an apprentice who didn’t know one end of a pipe from the other. And a second guy who has decided after a month that it must be a boiler issue. I’ve been told by the property management team that no hot water for a month is ‘one of those things’. I feel sorry for the landlord paying his fees

We put our house on the market through Stack & Bonner.
The entire process was very smooth. It took about a week from agreeing to work with S&B to having it feature online and getting the first viewing booked in - the main limiting factor being the speed at which we ourselves reviewed and signed the marketing engagement. A further 2-3 weeks saw our first offer come in.
Chris was excellent throughout the process, very knowledgeable and supportive for any queries we had on the process as first time sellers. He chased up on potential buyers frequently and provided detailed weekly updates on the entire process, including some helpful metrics to gauge our progress in selling our house.
Jane and Yasmin too were very helpful, responding promptly to emails and arranging viewings at reasonable times with sufficient notice, taking into account our family life with young kids on the weekends.

Somewhat belatedly, I just wanted to thank you very much indeed for working so hard to bring our sale to completion. Richard brought just the right kind of continual pressure onto the buyer and his solicitor to get us over the line. We completed on the 31 August and funds were very swiftly deposited into my bank account. Since than I have had a great time working out where I can put the money for maximum interest. Debts are getting paid off now and my wife and myself are feeling very much more relaxed as a result! We have just had three days up in London, by way of a celebration, which was great fun, if not a little tiring.

Very unprofessional people work there. For instance, Megan - a letting negotiator whom I had to push 24/7 for anything to happen. She would never call back or reply to my email or be at least remotely interested in doing her job. She doesn't know anything: how parking permits work, what the total area is, or what the property floor plan looks like. She just couldn't be bothered. It's a shame because their agency had a few very attractive properties on the market but dealing with these sort or people is a nightmare. Ended up finding a property elsewhere
UPD: I was contacted by the Stack&Bonner management. The manager was genuinely interested in my feedback which I provided. He apologised to me and seemed to be keen on improving things. Let's hope it was a one-off issue.

DO NOT RENT Through this Agent...... They will sting you at the end of the rental period...... I lived at an address for 4 years, rented through them. When i got to check out some lady Theresa who works in the lettings department has her friend of 30 years doing the check out inventory. This rude women must be on commission to see how much of your deposit they can keep. I have been charged to remove an umbrella and a toilet brush holder that was already in the flat when i moved in years ago. They have charged me to get the place cleaned again due to a shelve being dusty..... the professional cleaners i had clean the flat must have missed that shelf!! To sum up i spent £400 getting the carpets professionally cleaned and got cleaners in to clean the flat before moving out and they are saying it needs more cleaning at an additional charge of another £400..... what a joke and this is only an excuse to not have to refund the deposit. STAY WELL CLEAR OR BE STUNG BY THESE COWBOYS.

poor consultation. I contacted them several times to know about properties advertised carrying the agency's name.
the feedback was poor with estate agents either ignoring my requests or just sending properties not even meeting my requirements after I had said a couple of times already what I was looking for.
It sounded a bit like a waste of time
