Amazing Service - Clear Recommendation!
Was looking for a one-bedroom apartment on rather short notice and Helaina kindly connected me with the right property the second it became available. I am extremely disappointed with the management team of this company. They have shown a serious lack of responsibility from the day we moved in. When we arrived, the room was not properly prepared — they even left a used condom from the previous tenant in the room, which is completely unacceptable and unhygienic.
On top of that, they only installed one side of the curtain, leaving our room exposed so anyone outside can see inside. This is a serious safety and privacy issue for us as girls, yet they do not seem to care and have made no effort to fix it, even after many requests.
We also reported several other issues, including broken items, leftover belongings from the previous renter, and a missing curtain that affects our safety and privacy. It has now been 3 months, and despite sending multiple emails and making phone calls, we have received no proper response and no action. Even when they told us they would fix these problems, no one contacted us again.
If you see this review, please respond to our email immediately. We have been waiting far too long. The level of unresponsiveness and negligence from this management is unacceptable.

We got there I the end! It was a journey through the sticky path of a dead London property market. I chose Tavistock Bow to sell my property after a number of valuations from the big London estate agents, who told me they could sell my property in a "jiffy"... but Clara and Craig won the contract by a country mile.
Not gushing, cool and so reliable. They had a unique approach, which I was attracted to.
A few hairy months followed of very few viewings, thanks to Rachel Reeves for putting the fear of God into investment property landlords, second home owners etc.
Not going to lie, after these fruitless months, I was about to throw the towel in. However, Clara was not going to be defeated. She dug deep into her clientele black book, and a pulled off a number of viewings. Resulting in three offers in one week! She encouraged clients to look out of the box, and view something out of their comfort zones. Full credit to her for never giving up.
I cannot thank Craig and Clara enough for their perseverance and professionalism, therefore I can thoroughly recommend them and the rest of the team at Tavistock Bow. Thank you to them all.

Tavistock Bow are an exceptional estate agency. They are based in Covent Garden but they successfully sold our 2 flats, one in Covent Garden and the other in Borough Market. I would highly recommend them for all central London sales and they worked very effectively as a team. They positively marketed the properties to potential buyers rather than taking a passive approach and managed to succeed well in a difficult market. Clara Bracey took responsibility for the sale of both properties. She was very professional, kept us and the purchasers satisfied at all times and ensured we concluded the transactions with minimal stress. She responded to phone calls and other contact without delay and always found solutions to potential issues. She was extremely friendly and approachable and nothing was too much bother. Trusting this company, I rented a house in Downing Corte Russel Square. There was no hot water running in the house. They told me to call the landlord. They rented us a house with no running water in the bathroom. They didn't care at all. This problem was then resolved after 1 week. After 1.5 years, the landlord forced us out of the house saying he would have the water pump repaired. We had to live at home without hot and cold water in the bathroom for 4 months. They didn't care at all. They always sided with the host. In return, we did not pay rent to the landlord. Even though it is a legal situation, they are not giving our deposit back right now. In addition to not responding to all the e-mails we wrote for water repair in a house with no running water in the bathroom, they always reminded us to pay the rent. I have rented a house in England 4 times and I have never seen a real estate agent without such bad ethical values. Stay away!

I rented the home in Covent garden to move on 2nd of September, and I had been informed on 30th of August that I cannot move since there is a problem with electricity. Company representatives wanted me to stay in hotel and couldn’t even tell me exacty dates to move. It should be detected much before the apartment is advertised and I really suffered due to uncertainty. However, they did their best to fix it and tried to make my relocation smoother. Despite I was so concerned and angry for days, I have been relieved with their collaborative and positive approach during the process. They manage the crisis very well.

The people working at the Tavistock branch are actually lovely and always willing to help, however the flat I rented from them had an unacceptable landlord. I was living in a rat infested flat for months and they never cared or even took responsibility for having rented a flat that had an obvious history with rodents. They were not even willing to compensate after everything! Stay away from any flats in the Covent Garden region! I will attach an image of one of the rats I caught below. It’s just really terrible really… flats with a history of rodents should NOT be put on the market! This a HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD! People could get genuinely sick from this! Very bad on Tavistock part to work with such landlords.

I have lived in London for 5 years and in that time dealt with many estate agents as I’ve moved around the city trying to find my long term location. London estate agents have a bad rep for being overbearing and at times really difficult to deal with but Leanne at Tavistock bow was a million miles from that. I’ve had such a positive experience working with her to secure my current flat and cannot help her enough for her hard work and reassurance in helping me get it over the line. She is easily the best agent I’ve dealt with in London and if I have to find a new flat in the future I only want to find it via Tavistock bow and Leanne!

Craig Simpson was simply fantastic in the selling process of our Covent Garden flat. Being our first property sale in the UK, we were underwhelmed to say the least by the other agents’ marketing efforts. He proactively rallied his buyers, though, and being a local agent he had many great potential buyers. Going into the process I thought that going with a ‘larger’ firm would be more effective, but the local nature of Tavistock Bow combined with the drive of Craig was a winning combination. We sold our flat, but we also investigated letting it out, and they even offered much lower fees than the others. Craig was knowledgable, motivated, effective, and a truly nice guy. Couldn’t recommend him and Tavistock Bow more in a frankly awful buying/selling process in London. Full disclosure - we actually sold our flat through another agent, under circumstances irrelevant to this review, but if that situation hadn’t arisen, I know that Craig would have delivered.

When we moved to London from the United States one year ago, we didn’t know what to expect from flats in London in terms of space, amenities, cost, etc.
We began working with Tavistock Bow to help us find a flat that would be a perfect start to our new life and adventure in London. Lucy, was the letting agent we worked with and she really listened to what were were looking for in a flat and she helped us find a perfect flat that ticked all of the boxes we had (price, location, amenities, close proximity to public transportation, etc.)

She went above and beyond what most agents would do to provide us with the information we needed and obtaining quotes for work that would be needed on the property.
