The Property Man were the third set of estate agents I had come to to desperately sell my house. And I am SO glad I did! I completed on my house sale on Wednesday and it's all gone smoothly. The Property Man's responsiveness is second to none, they would instantly reply to any query I had via WhatsApp and kept me fully informed of any viewing requests coming in or any queries from the buyer. Even now as a buyer, I find it takes days and sometimes weeks for other estate agents to respond to my viewing requests, but The Property Man responded to the requests to view my property on the same day.
It was their determination and chasing of all parties that finally got the sale over the line. A particular shout out to Jessica, who worked tirelessly for my sale and has a real sense of empathy. She would send me detailed voice notes and respond to all my concerns with kindness. What I liked the most is how honest and real they are as a team. No dodgy sale tactics or dishonesty, just fair to the buyer and always thinking on behalf of the seller and that is how property sales should be. Thanks guys!

The selling experience in my case has been complicated by two circumstances that don't apply to the majority of transactions ie. the sale is subject to grant of probate, and the seller does not live in Manchester but in London. These put more emphasis than on timely and clear communications, on which The Property Man did OK but could have performed better. They could also have been more helpful in recommending solicitors to handle the sale process following agreement on an offer price: basically they pushed the firm that they usually deal with and I had to press them for a second quote from a different firm in the area. I preferred the second quote. Where they did perform well was in generating a reasonable degree of competition amongst those interested enough to make an offer.

What an experience! Our house was viewed, photographed, and listed in days! We had multiple viewings, multiple offers, and then accepted an above asking offer within a week of it going live!
Both sides are now instructed, our house is Sold STC, and we are looking forward to a new family making memories in our home.
Kim and the team are incredible. They know their stuff, are passionate about property, and stay true to their values.

From the introductory chat with Kimberley, followed by the personalised video by Rob and the input from Nathan, the service was top notch. The whole team were brilliant communicators and very organised. I felt very looked after.
I want to give a special shout out to Jessica who managed the sale diligently and with an outstanding level of professionalism. Jessica’s efforts were crucial in getting the sale over the line. Jessica fielded questions and responded very quickly - I really appreciated that we could communicate by WhatsApp, phone and email. Jessica also made sure that all of the key players were involved on a regular basis including solicitors and other estate agents. We were interested in a property that the Property Man was selling and became very keen to proceed. The property was one of four houses built on a development site in Winsford, We instructed solicitors and TPM knew we had instructed solicitors. What they did not tell us was that there was another party buying all four of the properties and were waiting for a Government backed scheme to be completed, they never indicated to us that there was another interested party and instead let us proceed with two viewings all the time inventing excuses as to why our solicitors had not received the sales details etc. one excuse was the properties had not been signed off for final completion by the Building Inspector, another was that one of the partners was on holiday and the other had a wife who was ill and things were taking longer, when we telephoned the office to make enquiries about progress on the matter, the people we spoke to said they were not dealing with the matter and would get somebody to contact us. Of course there was never any follow up telephone calls. I would say that we have been treated unprofessionally by TPM and that they were not honest with regard to the situation. Had they told us that there was another interested party wanting to buy all four of the properties, we would not have wasted our time and effort trying to progress the matter. The customer service from The Property Man is 10/10. We went in to enquire about viewing a property for sale and was greeted by a really friendly team who seemed genuinely interested in helping us. From valuation and viewing properties with Kim through to marketing and selling my house the service has been impeccable. The Property Man sold our house in Sale for us, and they were brilliant from start to finish. A few estate agents came round to value the house, and I found Kim from The Property Man to be by far the most impressive. Buying and selling houses in this country is a nightmare, we all know it, and you need human beings to help you do it. Some of the other agents that came round were too salesy (and pushy after I told them we wouldn't be using them), but Kim was professional while also being a nice, normal person.
That initial impression carried through the whole process. I think I met four of the team at one point or another, and all of them were great. Probably the biggest shout out needs to go to Jess, who was relentless in keeping us updated, offering advice and chasing other people involved.
100% would recommend.

The house went on sale on the Thursday and sold for full asking on the Saturday. We couldn’t be happier.

Following 12 months of my house being up for sale with another estate agent, and very little interest, I opted to change over to the property man. Kimberley came round and took new (much better) photos, a walk through video and advertised the house. Within days we were getting viewings which were all managed by Kimberley and Jess. We soon accepted an offer, but unfortunately the sale fell through. It was readvertised and another offer accepted within couple of weeks. Today we completed.
Kimberley and Jess have been brilliant throughout the whole process, going over and above on many occasions. They stayed in constant contact both by phone and through a WhatsApp group, guiding us through the entire selling process. Their fees were very reasonable too. I'd definitely recommend them to anybody and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

The listing looked good and generated a lot of attention, however there was no conversion of viewings to offers, and no clear reason why this was the case. About 3 years ago I viewed a property with Kimberley at The Property Man, whilst that one wasn't right for us, Kimberley kept in touch with me checking on where we were up to with moving. I really liked her proactive, but not pushy style, I felt like she genuinely wanted to help.

It's been a pleasure to work alongside Kim. Coming from another Estate Agent, Estate Agents working together is one of the biggest hurdles when it comes to selling properties that are in a chain. Ensuring that everyone works together to keep it together. Sadly this doesn't always happen and sales are left to progress on their own with no sense of urgency or help when there's bumps in the road. However in this instance between me and Kim, we've got a chain through to completion within 9 weeks! The industry standard currently is between 12-18 weeks and that isn't even when there's a chain. So this was a massive achievement! Wendy is fantastic! I have my buy to let with The Property Man and from sourcing a new tenant for a great rental to then looking after the move out at the end. Kim was excellent at promptly doing the valuation of my apartment and due to the market it sold really quickly. I can't say the same of PLS the conveyancing solicitors (who TPM said they were ok). So stay clear of PLS. On completion, the staff in the TPM office were very curt and not friendly. I don't know why this was but it isn't what I expected. I feel that once the completion happened I've finished being their customer forever and I haven't heard from The Property Man since. I have had much better experiences elsewhere.

Seriously, I could write an essay about how incredible the service has been from start to finish with the Property Man. We live out of their “core” area and had failed to sell our house with a local agency after several months of failed viewings.
The Property Man team went above and beyond to understand the USP’s of our house, take incredible new pictures and invest a huge amount of personal care to take over the sale of our property. Within days, we had a huge amount of new interest and had sold our house within a week! We then received a further offer on our house from another viewer, and the Property Man team offered some hugely valuable advice about which potential buyer would be most reliable and suitable.
However, selling our house turned out to be the easy bit. I had completely overlooked the need for an agency to provide the critical support after selling, and getting through a complicated process to exchange contracts. This is where the whole team impressed me beyond any expectations I may have had. The level of communication, commitment, persistence and resilience (despite me being quite a needy client!) was absolutely incredible and I cannot thank them enough for making a stressful process seem manageable and enjoyable!!

In September 2020 I posted a request an M33 Facebook site looking for recommendations for a local Estate Agent to sell a property for me in Sale. I was overwhelmed with responses from various people but there was a common theme amongst the recommendations. Kimberley Neilson of The Property Man. I arranged to meet Kim and agreed for her to sell my property. Kim is extremely professional, she did a fantastic job of marketing my property which was in need of modernisation and a sale was negotiated in about ten days from it going on sale. Kim kept us fully appraised throughout the process and despite one unforeseen hiccup the sale went through in about twelve weeks. Kim is extremely professional and personable. The property man’s fees are competitive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kim Neilson to anybody selling
their property.

Cant thank Kim enough at the property man, a proffesional but friendly service and always happy to go the extra mile. Keeps you informed qt every stage provides weekly updates even if theres no update but just a friendly hello so you dont think your forgotten about. Not only 1 house been sold with the property man but now this is my second and wouldn't recommend family and friends go anywhere else. 1st class service. Thank you once again????

When I decided to sell my property I knew I wanted to use The Property Man. This was because I had recently viewed an apartment which I had been shown round by Rob, Mànaging Director of the The Property Man, who impressed me with his friendly but business like attitude. The agent I had to sell my property was Kimberley. Right from the start she was friendly, smiley and put me at ease. At the age of 81, selling the property was a 'big deal' but she guided me through and was always on hand when i was anxious or had a query. Towards the end it was Kimberley who pushed for a satisfactory exchange and completion date for both myself and the buyer. She is a star. I also spoke to Wendy on numerous occasions who again helped to guide me and put me at ease when I had a query or leave a message for Kimberley.
i WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE PROPERTY MAN.

House bought/sold with them - March 2020 - ...Had the pleasure of using The Property Man (Cross Street, Altrincham) to buy and sell our house. Went to view a property that was been sold by Rob from The Property Man and was impressed by how personable and professional he was. We decided to then sell our house through The Property Man, and me and my wife are really happy we made that choice. During the process we dealt mostly with the friendly and helpful Jackie from their office. Jackie made the process smooth and easy and kept the comms going between all parties. They say moving house is THE most stressful experience. I have to say i didn't find it stressful. Thanks lots to The Property Man. FYI - It was a fixed fee, so this made us feel extra comforted.

Nothing is too much trouble, every call and email is answered swiftly and the support is great. I particularly like the fact that they have vast network of trades people to take care of any routine maintenance as and when required, this is not only time saving but I also benefit from reduced rates.
