Could not recommend purchasing from this company. We found that it and one of its associated solicitors were totally insensitive to our needs even though we had been more than willing to accommodate the wishes of the vendor by delaying our holiday. Communication was very poor not only with us and our legal team but also between each other. Their misleading statements, lack of decent support and prevarication meant that our medical safety was potentially compromised. The people involved did nothing to alleviate what is inevitably a stressful situation from becoming even more extremely difficult.

Excellent estate agency. Appointment made to view a property for sale and email and text reminders were sent. Due to a sharp change in the weather it was necessary to liaise with the company regarding the viewing and all calls were held in a courteous and understanding manner.
A Professional colleague attended the viewing punctually at the arranged time. She was equipped with all relevant facts and historical information regarding the past works completed at the property within the last 30 years. I hadn’t expected this at all! She answered questions with honesty and integrity as well as offering ideas and suggestions. A very pleasant person to accompany me on my visit.

Bought a house recently through THW. The purchase turned out to be quite complicated and time consuming. Ana Moreno from the Kirkby Lonsdale office kept us informed all the way through, chasing solicitors and speaking to the vendors. If it hadn’t been for Ana I don’t know if the sale would ever have gone through!

Great team to work with - the estate agency team were really professional and kept me up to date on activity and next steps throughout the sale - the Solicitor team guided me through the documentary requirements to support the sale and final processing of the completion and settlement were progressed extremely quickly. I bought a property through THW and was looked after by Joanne Nelson. It was a very complicated purchase with a tenant involved. On several occaisions it looked like the purchase would fall through, but Joanne was amazing at negotiating and keeping everyone informed. I genuinely believe our house move would not have happened, if Joanne hadn't been so determined and so sensitive to the seller's situation. I have used many estate agents in the past and always wondered what on earth I was paying them for.
THW (and particularly Jennie) were the exception.
WOW!
From Day 1 I knew I was in capable hands. They knew their clients and their properties well. I had a constant stream of suitable buyers. Communication was excellent. I never had to ask for follow up.
And at the tine of completion, Jennie was truly exemplary. I was in a HUGELY long chain, beginning with "online" conveyancers who had no idea of urgency. Without Jennie, nothing would have been done. She was like a terrier - tenacious and efficient!
I am so grateful I was in the hands of such a fabulous team.
I recommended THW unreservedly.
