Completely unprofessional! Rude woman on the letting team. Refused a viewing as my current landlord is a guarantor for some one in a property they manage who hasn't paid rent. Don't see how that involves me or why they feel the need to share that information.
Looking at Welden & Edwards reviews they need to have a look at there staff.

Totally unprofessional.
Called to arrange a viewing on a property listed on their site, booked it on the Wednesday and then had a call back within 48 hours on the Friday to state that the landlord had accepted an application (despite them saying that they’ve had no viewings and they’d be doing them on the following Monday) - anyway I get another call on Tuesday to say that the application had fallen through and would I be interested? I call them back and they say the property has been let. Communication is poor.

Couldn’t fault the sales team at all, they bent over backwards to help us with the purchase of our new home from viewing all the way to completion! All the sales team were extremely helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again! Big thanks to Shaunnah for all your help, you made it very stress free for us and we’re truly grateful for that!

This isn’t a 1* review for Welden they have been fantastic. This is merely a warning for anyone with the intention of being a new tenant of number 8 parlour mead in cullompton. Since we have moved out the property the landlord is trying anything in their power to take deposit money off, we handed the keys back when we was told at the latest and the landlord ‘had to change the lock’ and tried charging us for this. Welden confirmed we didn’t have to pay. As well trying to charge us for wear and tear on the shower silicone. My main issue however with this landlord was the fact that not only did they turn up without notice on the day we moved in but the fact when our carbon monoxide alarm was going off we was told by the landlord to put it in water and not to worry as they couldn’t find a suitable contact of theirs to come and sort this at the time. Obviously if something would have happened this would have been the landlords fault. Just please be careful if you are thinking of renting this property and be prepared to fight for your deposit for things that you shouldn’t need to fight for.

As someone who previously worked in the industry, I understand that communication is key. I enquired about a property and booked a viewing which unfortunately couldn't be accommodated by the tenant. This is fine, completely understand.
What's disappointing is that I asked for a revised appointment and never heard back, when chased up this morning I've been informed the property is. now under offer.

Excellent service from the whole team. Not only did they market our house well, they had prospective buyers through the door quickly and communication was excellent. We unfortunately lost a couple of sales due to time wasters but they were straight back on the case, arranging viewings and securing another sale quickly. They even dealt with my daily panics, making me feel reassured and following up with any concerns I had ????. I wouldn’t want to use anyone else!

Seems to be an ongoing issue with an inadequate team at Welden and Edwards.
You request your deposit and they ignore your emails, calls end with false promises. Terrible company who do not look after their Tennant's.
Disappointed and would never recommend them.
1 star is too much. Terrible letting company.

We just purchased our first home through Welden and Edwards and could not recommend this brilliant Estate Agent more! We completed within 8 weeks and this was despite having our offer accepted only a few days before Christmas.
Chloe and the rest of the sales team were all very friendly and professional, keeping us up to date throughout the purchase.
After having an unfortunate experience with another local agent, it was a refreshing change to have all our calls answered/returned and for Chloe and her team to always be up to date on what was happening. Thank you very much for making the experience stress free and straight forward.

I cannot speak highly enough regarding the service provided by Chloe and the rest of the team at the Tiverton Office of Walden and Edwards Estate Agents. Highly professional and Friendly – our sale was completed with the bear minimum of fuss or stress and this is all down to the service provided! We where kept informed at every point of the process and our questions where not handled with care and attention but also extremely efficiently. I particularly liked the innovation of the web-based tool to keep track of the sale progression – really useful. I thoroughly recommend their services and with out exception the most positive experience we have had when it comes to selling properties.

They wont make things easy for you. Might take months before they can find you a house to rent. Will waste your time with house veiwings even though they know you wont be successful. Doesnt do weekend or after 5pm veiwings so if you have a full time job GOOD LUCK. Doesnt do veiwings after 4pm during the winter because of low light (what a joke)

Welden and Edwards were so helpful with our recent house sale. Right from the beginning, they were fantastic at providing good quality photos and arranging viewings to suit us.
Our contact, Chloe, was professional, responsive to messages, and always happy to help. She liased with solicitors and other agents to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Avoid, their customer service and professionalism is beyond a joke.
Cancelled a property viewing less than 30 mins before the scheduled time despite being booked and confirmed two days prior. Their reason was when they checked that morning, they did not have keys to the property. I’m sure a detail such as this should be checked before a viewing is confirmed. Despite us travelling over two hours, we had no choice to turn around and go home, leading to a complete waste of time and fuel.
