Had a disappointing experience with White and Brooks. First, they proposed the sale price and then failed to sell my house after being tied into a 20 week contract. After the first few weeks of being tied in they started suggesting I reduce the price - which I did. Then there were the constant phonecalls: weekly updates to say the market was flat and suggesting a price review, phonecalls to book viewings, phonecalls to confirm viewings and phonecalls with feedback. There was too much contact for someone who works away especially after I asked them to stop. I changed to a new estate agent that has no contractual tie in and also a lot cheaper with less phonecalls.

I have bought & sold many times, this was my 12th purchase. All were properties I lived in. The conveyancing process has changed beyond recognition since my first purchase over 40 years ago - what is deemed "progress" has actually become a very stressful situation with everyone involved "litigationinfluenced". I found White & Brooks the exception.
Some of the agents I encountered in my search lied to me, never gave answers to simple questions, I ended up doing background research on each property I was interested in. You were just a means to an end.
White & Brooks hand held me throughout the process, any queries I had were answered swiftly, any part of the ever-changing process I didn't understand was explained clearly. Getting to exchange was fraught but that was the solicitors - too many egos involved, too much splitting hairs. Would I use White & Brooks were I to sell my property in the future - most definitely.

This company are selling new houses in East Meon, called Penny Mile, be aware there is a serious lack of parking available for these houses and they are extremely likely to flood with any heavy rain fall. Having watched these being constructed over the past year I wouldn't trust the quality they brag about, they have used cheap materials and cut corners at every opportunty.

I saw this property and called immediately for a viewing. I was able to take a video to show my wife who also loved it but wanted a viewing for herself which the agent Rhianna organised. We ended up coming back at the end of the day for a final visit before we put in our offer. Rhianna helped us along the whole journey and even came to let us view the property multiple more times before the sale was eventually completed. Very pleased with the service and would recommend them to anyone.

Having not moved for 25 years, the process of selling a home has changed somewhat during that time. White and Brooks guided me through the whole process with professionalism. The details that White and Brooks produced, I feel, were of far better quality than other local agents, which included a full 3D tour of the house, really making it come to life for prospective purchasers.
We accepted an offer within a couple of weeks of the house going on the market, and the whole team kept me updated with the progress, answering my numerous questions with professionalism and patience.

We were served by Tom who went well above and beyond the requirements expected of an estate agent. We had bad experiences with three other agencies prior to W&B- lack of communication, not listening, lack of professionalism, not caring and just wanting to make an easy buck at our expense. So while we were in France without internet or phone connections, Tom did a lot of donkey work getting our complicated sale pushed through as fast as he could. He was in communication with us when we were able to get to our nearest town (34km away where we could get a mobile signal) and kept us abreast of the situation at the agreed phoning times.
