25th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)highly recommend, clearly a very professional company, they take pride in all their properties making sure everything is in place for a comfortable stay, everything is well equipped, and it’s lovely and clean and fresh and communication is brilliant.
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

5th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Sam & Hannah have been excellent, they've kept me informed of all viewings and feedback from prospective buyers. It's been a hard sellers market for the last 6 mths, I've had over 30 viewings, which is a credit to Oakley's. Thank you
7th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)They have been generally good to deal with and have been efficient. Where there have been minor errors and changes to sort out, these have been dealt with promptly. I have had the complication of being in Hertfordshire selling my sister's property in Brighton. This has been handled well so far .

30th Jul 2021 (4 years ago)Excellent estate agents. Fast, courteous and friendly service. They know how to price accurately and understand the process and paperwork. Commission reasonable and worth paying...you know up front how much everything is going to cost which helps budgeting.

23rd Dec 2025 (12 weeks ago)???? AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. MORE RED FLAGS THAN CHINA. ???????? ???? I specifically asked Wayne if the property we were looking at had damp, which he said it did not. I have since learned that the flat was already a subject to a case with the Environmental Health (and so is once again). Wayne had no qualms lying to me about this, knowing I am Autistic and was specifically moving out of a property due to damp, costing me thousands to be in the same situation. **Further to your reply- That is also a lie. We can all see there is another one star review on here. This just reaffirms the fact that you are comfortable with lying, despite the clear and present facts on display in the photos. The public can decide for themselves. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID ????????????????????????

Regular contact is key- especially if solicitors don’t always seem to consider their clients as the “most important”. He does! It can be a long emotional and draining sales process especially with multiple chains so this was very welcome. He is responsive, he cares & above all had our best interests at all times. An experienced estate agent, ahead of the game & we wish him well building his own business. We are sure he’ll be a great success through referrals & his “can do/ will do” positive attitude.
