Zoe, the manager, was extremely professional and helpful throughout, making the whole process smooth and well?organised. Alfie was also fantastic—he showed us the property multiple times and was always patient in answering all our questions and explaining everything clearly. His support and responsiveness made a big difference and helped us feel confident in our decision. Overall, the team provided outstanding service, and we really appreciate their help during such an important purchase. Highly recommended!
14th Mar 2026 (4 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with this letting agency. My viewing was confirmed both over the phone and by email, so I travelled to the property as agreed. When I arrived outside the property, they suddenly cancelled the viewing and gave me different excuses. This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. If the viewing could not take place, they should have informed me well in advance instead of letting me travel there for nothing. I expected much better communication and reliability from a letting agency.
9th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)If I could give no stars I would. Do not rent through this lot. They badmouth the landlord to you and then go back on what they have said and try and con you out of your deposit. Awful company.
23rd Feb 2026 (23 days ago)I had checked statistics on other agents before settling with Temme English. They ranked highest for fastest sales and truest valuations. Prompt advertising and clean clear photos. I had prior knowledge of every viewing and feedback soon after. Viewings came thick and fast and property was sold STC within 10 days at near asking price

A big thank you as well to Adam Brittain, Senior Property Advisor, whose knowledge, guidance, and professionalism made such a difference. He was always helpful and reassuring throughout the journey. And of course, Freya Tilbury, Trainee Property Advisor,our very first point of contact! Freya was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful from the moment we stepped in to view the property. Very thorough during the process which she went through in every detail with viewings from interested people to taking photos to advertising my property online and negotiating the best price. I was impressed with all the effort Adele went to and she spent time explaining everything to me unlike other Estate Agents I spoke to. I would recommend these Estate Agents to any seller or buyer.

Their professionalism really sets them apart, while still being genuinely approachable and easy to deal with. The team has excellent local market knowledge and gave clear, honest advice at every stage, which made the whole process feel smooth and well managed. Communication was consistently strong — we were always kept informed and felt confident that everything was being handled properly. A reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly estate agent that I would highly recommend.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)Gilbert and Rose had a professional approach to valuing my property and seemed enthusiastic. We received and accepted an offer the day after the advert went live. The communication from then onwards was very poor. I had to chase for information as the memorandum of sale had not been issued more than 10 days after accepting the offer. Although the delay may not have been a direct fault of Gilbert and Rose, I had to chase daily for progress and as I am writing to this I have not received an update on progress and I am going to need to chase again.

From advising how to ready the house, to finding a good buyer, to helping manage the solicitors constant enquiries and their shortcomings. Always available to help. Plus using his long experience and long list of contacts to get this ordeal over the line. So hard working. I will recommend him to everyone. Importantly, he’s a lovely guy!

The agents involved in viewings could do with some training in this aspect. Having dealt with other agents in the past I know what ‘good service’ looks like. This unfortunately was not it.
