Had a house on sale through Perry Bishop Nailsworth. The property was on sale for 12 weeks, it did not sell, the photos were very underwhelming. During our 28 day notice period, we had no contact or viewings booked in. And then we had a circa £400 fee to pay for the poor 16 week service which was not well communicated. My wife and I were visiting the Malmsbury area visiting friends when we became aware of a house for sale in Hullavington village which was of interest for us. This was at 1230 on the day we were due to return home to Cornwall. I immediately telephoned the Strakers office in Malmesbury to enquire whether there was any possibility of a viewing. Winnie took my call, and after a few minutes whilst she checked with the vendors whether a short-notice visit would be ok, she confirmed an appointment for 3 pm later that afternoon. Although the property didn't quite match up to our requirements just having the opportunity to have a viewing without having to make a return trip from Cornwall was extremely helpful.
