Everyone at Goadsbys has been so professional, so helpful and so friendly and reassuring. The whole team has acted wisely throughout all the negotiations and guided us through some rough patches. We have been in good and safe hands throughout the marketing and the sale itself and we are delighted to be able to successfully move near our daughter early in the New Year. We could not have been more pleased with the service Goadsbys has given us and we highly recommend them. I shall miss the frequent, friendly contact!
4th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)Made an appointment a month ago for a house valuation. Day before the appointment received a call cancelling said appointment in order to save petrol. Not impressed at all. Even if they want to do a valuation now my answer would be NO

12th Jun 2026 (23 days ago)I did a few years ago sell my own house through Connells, Dorchester. It was a particularly difficult time for me in the midst of a traumatic divorce. Lily Creighton was amazingly supportive throughout the sale process and went above and beyond to ensure that the process was as painless and stress free as it could have been for myself and my son. Lily Creighton advocated throughout for myself at times when I struggled to do so for myself and worked tirelessly to ensure that both myself and my son came out of a very difficult situation in a much more positive one. I recently purchased a cottage through Connells in Dorchester. My point of contact throughout the process of buying the house, was again the Manager of Dorchester Connells. Lily Creighton. Lily was an absolute font of knowledge throughout the whole process, aways easy to contact and responded really quickly to any concerns or queries that I had. Nothing ever felt to be too much trouble and even at some of the more challenging moments, I felt that I was in very safe and capable hands with Lily. She was hugely professional throughout my time with Connells to the point where knowing that she was involved with the sale actually encouraged my purchase, as I knew that it would be handled professionally. Could not recommend or praise Lily Creighton and her team enough. Thank you Lily for all your hard work on both occasions, am very grateful !

5th Jun 2026 (30 days ago)I didn’t sell the property with Austin Property, after a year I moved to another agent who sold it in 2 weeks.
20th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Arranged to view a property, (which I did go and view), I liked the property and asked if i could give a holding fee. The reply was, 'Go away and have a coffee and think about it.' Well I had thought about it and I wanted to give a holding fee as soon as possible. The lady I spoke to, Victoria had an awful attitude on the phone. She asked me in a very disrespectful way to stop calling and emailing as she will get back to me. I was only calling and emailing as I wanted to hold the property. She told me that she has to contact the landlords and would get back to me the next day. What they seem to do is present the landlords with a selection of possible tenants, and then the landlords 'chat about it overnight' to decide who they 'like the most'. Which in my opinion, is discrimination. Also the agents, don't get back to you very promptly with the outcome. Had to call and email multiple times and felt as if I was harassing as I was told previously to stop calling and emailing. I was disheartened as I really wanted to rent the property and felt like I was overall, discriminated against. Its like your auditioning for the x-factor for goodness sake! Overall, very unprofessional, would avoid at all costs, rude staff and not helpful.

20th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)Complete disaster. Ruined my first time buyer experience. Messages were inappropriate asking to go out for drinks to celebrate and give me my keys. He got funny and defensive and told me I was ungrateful when I questioned why my property wasn't ready by the date he said it would be and that resulted in me being homeless for two weeks. Then I got the wrong keys two weeks later and it was late so I had to find somewhere else to sleep which also meant I had to delay my moving van because I had to arrange collection of correct keys in morning. I actually got my friend to get the keys because I felt too uncomfortable. It should have been exciting my first experience and Nest associates ruined that.
