We were kept regularly informed and received calls as promised. As a potential buyer this reflected well on the property being sold and it gave us confidence that communication would continue in such a positive way throughout any purchase.

Based the valuation on what they could see in the house rather than previous local sales data which would have been unhelpful as no other comparable houses. Photographer also skilled and just a great helpful team from start to finish.

15th Mar 2026 (3 days ago)I recently saw a property they were renting out to a family, I'll try to get some photographs to add here but to summarise, it was damp, musty, plaster falling off the walls and had thick visible mould.... I asked the tenant why they didn't say anything and they replied "I have many times, they've even seen it firsthand but they don't care". I saw the evidence with my own eyes and will never use Doolittle & Dalley!!

9th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)If I could leave no stars, I would. Very disappointing experience as buyers. We were encouraged on multiple occasions to increase our offers, only to be told much later that the seller was not actually in a position to proceed as they had not found anywhere to move to. Had this been made clear from the outset, we would never have increased our bids. Communication was inconsistent throughout, with long delays and changing explanations about the seller’s situation. We did not receive timely written confirmation of our offers or the seller’s responses, and only received a retrospective summary after repeatedly requesting clarity. Being pushed to increase our offer several times, only to later discover that the seller could not move forward, left us feeling that the process was driven by price rather than transparency. This lack of clarity and honesty caused unnecessary stress and ultimately led us to withdraw. We would strongly advise other buyers to ensure everything is confirmed in writing from the very beginning.Connells - Kidderminster

27th Aug 2025 (6 mo. ago)I am not qualified to review Halls as an organisation, but I am eminently qualified to review the help given to me by the delightful member of staff who dealt with my consignment, which was directly connected with Stalag Luft III and the Great Escape. If other members of staff at Halls share even half the fine attributes of Caroline Dennard, then I suspect that the organisation itself deserves five stars too. At a very difficult time in my life, following the death of my wife, Caroline was unstinting in her labours, her empathy and her professionalism. She did more to honour the memory of the remarkable wartime RAF officer, whose memorabilia I was reluctantly having to sell, than I could ever have hoped for, even arranging for additional research by Doctor Steve Bond. Her hard work and kindness both yielded great dividends, for she not only helped soothe my suffering soul, but also bettered the auction's guide price. Most important, she put my beloved step-father's memory and medals into the hands of someone who would understand and value them.

The support and guidance they gave us and they went above and beyond to get our house sold and into our new home! If in future I was to sell again I wouldn’t hesitate to use them all. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

11th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Cannot recommend this estate agents enough, friendly, helpful and never pushy. Found our dream house last April with them but sadly it sold before we could sell ours. I was overjoyed when I had a call from Mark Wiggins a few months later to say it had fallen through and was going back in the market. The service from them from start to finish was excellent. Special mention to Corrabeth - superstar. Thanks for everything, we love our new home - even in all this rain and mud!
