30th Sep 2026 (27 days ago)Fulford's in Exeter lied to me by assuring me that the flat above me had an elderly couple living in it. Turned out it's a students rental during term time, and a short let the rest of the year (at least 3 different lets) . The in and out movement is non stop. Never knowing what kind of tenant it's going to be. I still curse Fulford's every time a new letting period begins.

Luckily for me, Suzanne and Steve tried all their best, patience and professional to push for a better result until completion of my property. From the day the sale of my property was agreed with the buyer, Suzanne was on the case always keeping me updated with both our solicitors and the buyers solicitors. Whilst the process took very longer than expected she acted very patiently and I would say Suzanne an asset to Robert Williams Estate Agents. The sales team at Robert Williams are definitely very knowledgeable and experienced. Thank you! Highly recommend!

In a tough market, our estate agent, Nick was persistent and ensured we had people through the door for viewings. He was professional, courteous, and kept us well informed throughout the process. 15th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Despite having our lovely mid-Devon country property on the market at a difficult time, in terms of over-supply and wide ranging financial concerns, Tom Folland, a Director at Strutt and Parker, has done a brilliant job for us dealing with a difficult and protracted sale, including a sometimes unstable chain. It has been so good to have an agent who has communicated with us all the way through the process, keeping us in the loop with everything we needed to know about. Tom has stayed calm and professional even when the process was driving us a little crazy because it felt so precarious and uncertain. Tom has been patient, kind and considerate, and we couldn’t recommend Strutt and Parker more highly for achieving a good sale - a terrific result especially in such a slow and uncertain market.

Every step of the way I have found them to be professional and wonderful people to work with. They have now acted as selling agents, this took a bit longer than anticipated but Southgate agents have kept us informed and been helpful during the whole process.

13th May 2022 (4 years ago)I first met Brett a couple of years ago when looking into the student market. I didn't do anything at that time. It was a pleasure to meet Brett again in July 2021 when viewing another property, and subsequently other properties. Brett is generous with his time, doesn't rush you, and tells you the facts as he sees them. I feel he gives his views and advice in a very straightforward manner which is what you want as a buyer or a seller. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brett for his professionalism, friendliness and someone to go to for advice. I have now met the Lettings side of Star and found them extremely helpful as well.
22nd Mar 2023 (3 years ago)I had a very, very disappointing experience with Star Lettings back in the summer of 2021 – I'd been served with a section 21”no fault eviction” due to an issue with mold in the bathroom floor (which it transpired was caused by a “long term leak under the bath”) I still owe money to southwest water because of this. I'd reported the issue with the moldy bathroom floor to Star Lettings some two years previously. This notice to vacate was on hold throughout lock down due to Government legislation but didn't do much for my peace of mind. In my experience it seemed that the landlord always came first and I lost half my deposit even when I'd cleaned the house as requested though it was difficult given the underlying mold issue that should have been addressed when I raised two years previously. I was also told that the flat would be completely renovated as the landlord planned to turn the place into an AirB&B (which I believe has happened) so I left the place completely empty with a clean up as best as I could (thinking I wouldn't overly invest too much time in it, given the renovation would be going ahead anyway) After moving I contacted Star Lettings about my deposit but Star Lettings tried to withhold my entire deposit, in the end I managed to get back half of this, but not without a struggle. I needed the money as it certainly wasn't easy finding a new flat immediately post lock down
