Particular thanks for dealing so effectively with the solicitors for both sides and eliminating what can otherwise be somewhat stressful.

You wanted to complete a form, which I understand, but then you said, 'Well, I can't go ahead without your address.' I hung up. Don't let your process drive your customer interaction, because you have lost the opportunity sell a large house. *** Updated Based on the Reply Below *** No other estate agent asked me for that 'essential information'.

Great communication and a very friendly, supportive team. I would highly recommend this company.

A sale was agreed within days of going on the market. All staff were efficient and kept us well informed throughout the process. I would highly recommend them.
9th Jul 2023 (2 years ago)Would not recommend this estate agents. I had to chase them for feedback every time (however, only had 7 viewings in 4 months!) didn’t hear from them at all for 7 weeks! NO communication at all!! Arranged viewings with totally unsuitable prospective buyers (e.g. a lady with an electric car who wanted to install an electric hook up when there is no driveway-on street parking). Felt forgotten about as the office wasn’t in our town. Worse than disappointing.

7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.- 23rd Feb 2026 (23 days ago)The lettings team at Savills Oxford Summertown, in particular, Rosie De Keyser , and the property management team, in particular Charlotte Nugent and Isla Howell-Bayes, were amazing in the process of letting my property and now managing it. They found me great tenants, walked alongside me through the process of getting flat ready for rental so smoothly, and I can honestly say I sleep easy knowing that they are managing the property. As a non-resident landlady, it is so important to have agents that I can trust and rely on. Thank you so much and Bless you, Rosie, Charlotte and Isla
7th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)Living abroad necessitates us having a fully managed service for our house with Scott Fraser, we are therefore reliant on the relationship we have with our property manager to keep us updated and to act on our behalf as & when the need arises. For the past year or so, we have had the good fortune to have Simon Butt as our property manager. During this time Simon has displayed professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very pro-active attributes. We had the misfortune to have issues with a tenant who instigated an early termination that eventually had to go through arbitration. Simon provided us with excellent support during the whole process & provided a wealth of documented evidence to the arbitrators to backup our case, resulting in the positive outcome of our claim. I have exchanged e-mail messages & spoken on the telephone with Simon numerous times since he became our property manager. He is equally adept at written & verbal communication. His whole persona displays a high level of empathy & genuine willingness to help, he has a way of making any issue seem manageable and truly has gone that "extra mile" to ensure that we have been totally happy with & have fully understood the information he has provided. Having Simon as our property manager has given us a trusted, professional & friendly point of contact for all rental matters regarding our property & tenants. In the 14 years that we have been landlords, we have dealt with numerous estate agents & property managers, I have never before felt as comfortable with or experienced the level of support & commitment that we receive from Simon. Thank you Simon for everything you have done & continue to do.

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
26th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)We cannot rate Waymark highly enough for their complete professional service throughout the whole selling process.The pictures were outstanding and Yas really captured each selling point of our house, showing it for the family home that it truly was, so much so that our house sold within the first few weeks. Viewings were a breeze and the communication was superb. Yas was on hand at all times and made the process seamless for us, despite there being some struggles along the way which were out of our hands. She is an exceptional estate agent who has thorough knowledge of the market and is an absolute joy to work with. If you are thinking of selling your property then these are the guys to go to! 13th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Hathaways took over management of our Oxford property in April this year, and so far have been a breath of fresh air - it's great to be working again with a family concern, and to feel that they care about us and our tenants. The only issue we had was that some documents were rather unclear, but they responded promptly to my feedback and updated the docs to fix this. Service has been friendly and efficient.
