19th Mar 2025 (11 mo. ago)Could you explain why you are claiming a property which has been on rightmove with you for 6 months has been put back on minus £50 as a new listing? Not a reduced listing even if only £50. rightmove do not allow this, has to be taken off rightmove for 14 weeks to be classed as new listing.

Communication was excellent throughout the whole process and they kept me updated every step of the way, which made what can often be a stressful time much easier. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble and the team were always happy to answer questions or help when needed. Every member of staff I dealt with was friendly, professional and genuinely lovely. I would definitely recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property. A great team who made the whole process feel straightforward and I felt supported from start to finish!

12th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)They don’t do repairs on houses took 3 months last year to repair a hole in the roof and now they are avoiding more repairs damp in the house and they do nothing!

23rd Sep 2025 (25 weeks ago)I’ve been with DH1 Lettings and Sales for over 7 years, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better service. They managed and looked after my house while it was rented out, and more recently they successfully (and very quickly!) sold it for me – all while I was living abroad in Dubai. They’re a genuine family business who really care, not only about their landlords but also about the tenants. Communication has always been excellent, and I’ve always felt my property was in safe hands. 26th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)2 viewings one offer £40000 below asking price which was set by agent as realistic then they said it was probably too high. Also I take offence to their Facebook posts that state everything they touch turns to sold! When clearly it does not.

They were terrific in showing my late Brother’s house to potential buyers and always let me know about viewings, and answered any questions I had regarding the matter. I mostly dealt with Jayne Saddique MNAEA, the lovely Olivia Mahmood and excellent Debbie Wilson. Terrific job done by all staff. Grateful Thanks, Pat Gibson.
25th Sep 2025 (25 weeks ago)Having a house with langdales estate and letting has been a nightmare of my life not only did they promise me things that never went through they made me pay for rat infestation problems never sent no one out for fixtures and when they did it was bodge jobs everywhere absolutely disgusting. Ceiling was falling through lucky it never while I was there after I reported it constantly which I have proof for. Had to watch my home turn worse beach’s I refused to have to do everything with estate agents who were ignorant untill paying rent- 31st Oct 2025 (20 weeks ago)Look after two properties in Bishop Auckland. So far so good.

They were honest and up front the whole time, managing our expectations honestly and everything ran like clockwork. I couldn’t believe how fast everything ran from valuation to listing. In the end they got us an offer within a week. 10/10 will recommend to everyone!

Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings. Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.
