27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)I purchased a house through Leaper Standbrook and the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The vendor had a language barrier, which required careful management. Unfortunately, this was handled very badly. For two months, the vendor failed to respond to legal correspondence, causing serious delays. As a result, my own buyer was close to pulling out and demanding money back. On the day of completion, matters became even worse. Leaper Standbrook had still not obtained the keys from the vendor due to poor communication and management. I was left sitting on the driveway of a house I legally own with no way to get inside. This should have been an exciting day, but instead it was stressful and upsetting. The lack of organisation, communication, and responsibility shown throughout this process has been unacceptable. I would not recommend Leaper Standbrook based on my experience.

Lorraine battled very hard in helping to secure exchange in what became a protracted process. I can't thank her and the team enough for their efforts and would not hesitate to recommend them.

18th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)This estate agent gets you moving!!! We changed to Wood and Pilcher after being on the market with another estate agent for over five months through the Spring and Summer with no success. We approached Wood and Pilcher who agreed to take over the sale, (and were utterly professional with their guidance about how to end our contract with the other agent). Although our property was then launched with them late in the Autumn as the dark days were drawing in, we immediately had fresh viewings and a firm offer for the house within a week. This led to exchange of contracts before Christmas, and completion as soon as the solicitors were back at work in January. Their proactive approach and clear, prompt communication made all the difference. They respond to emails instantly; they followed up a query from our buyers late on a Saturday afternoon, until it was resolved and sorted before leaving their desk for the weekend. They unpicked a mistake made by solicitors and diplomatically saved the day, again with honest, clear communication between us and the buyers, which would have dragged into a complicated mess if left to the solicitors! We cannot thank them enough for the successful house sale, which all went through within weeks at a 'slow' time of year for the property market generally.

I spoke with Chloe and Rebecca on the rental side, both were very helpful and transparent in discussing next steps with me. I will definitely be considering using them as my agent in the future!

Ours was not a straightforward chain, but Sam kept us informed with good knowledge and a sense of humour the whole way through. Could not have asked for more as an agent. Would highly recommend.

11th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)We engaged Crane & Co after seeing a property they had for sale and made an offer within 15 minutes of viewing. The property had been on the market for some time despite high demand. Negotiations with Michael Cane were slow, and we were told this was due to the vendor. After four days, we agreed on a price and provided all requested financial information and a mortgage decision in principle. At this point, we understood the sale was progressing. Shortly after, a cash offer was submitted and quickly withdrawn, but we were informed that a second viewing would take place for other potential buyers. This was surprising, as we had already committed quickly and provided detailed personal and financial information. Despite following all requests and meeting the vendor’s price, we were not given priority in the process. Within hours of the second viewing, the house was marked as Sold Subject to Contract (SSTC). Our experience was frustrating and left us feeling that communication and transparency could have been much better. Buyers should be aware that even after committing and providing all requested information, the process may remain competitive, and there is no guarantee that an early offer will secure the property. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend Crane & Co. While the staff were polite, the process felt unnecessarily slow and unpredictable, and buyers should approach with caution and be prepared for a highly competitive process.

They were communicative, got viewings in quickly (we had been on the market with another agent for a while and had no viewings for a long time), and gave feedback promptly. We sold our house within two weeks of being on the market with them. Once we had the offer, they kept in touch on a regular basis and formed a useful link between us and our buyers which kept things running smoothly. They even supported us in getting some issues with our onward purchase ironed out too. I don’t think I would use another agent now. Thank you Just Property!

After searching for around six months and viewing multiple properties with different estate agents, I still hadn’t found the right place. I then made an online enquiry about a property that had unfortunately already been sold but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because that’s when Wendy stepped in. From that moment on, Wendy went above and beyond. She took the time to truly understand exactly what I was looking for in terms of price, location, and the type of home I wanted. Their agents are friendly, professional and enthusiastic, and know the property business inside out. Phil Hutchins was really committed to selling our cottage and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. The supporting staff in the office were also extremely helpful.

10th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)I had an excellent experience selling my property with Neville & Neville Estate Agents, and in particular working with Francis, who was outstanding from start to finish. Francis originally found my buyer and handled the negotiations brilliantly, securing a result I was very happy with. What really impressed me though was his dedication throughout the entire process. He managed the sales progression and chasing exceptionally well, keeping everything moving and ensuring I always knew exactly where things stood. He always provided viewing feedback the same day and was incredibly responsive, always getting back to me within the day whenever I had questions. Francis also made a point of giving me weekly updates, even when there was nothing new to report, just to make sure I was always kept fully informed. Selling a property can be stressful, but he kept me calm throughout and took the time to explain each stage of the process so I fully understood what was happening. One thing I particularly appreciated was that he continued arranging viewings right up until exchange of contracts. This meant I had backup buyers in place in case anything went wrong or the existing buyer tried to renegotiate — which ultimately protected me and gave me great peace of mind. What really sets Neville & Neville Estate Agents apart from other estate agents is their level of communication, care and attention to detail throughout the process. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I would absolutely recommend Neville & Neville Estate Agents, especially Francis, for his professionalism, communication and commitment to achieving the best outcome for their clients.

12th Mar 2026 (6 days ago)I requested a property valuation from Oakfield Estate agents via their website on a Sunday evening and was contacted by Georgia first thing the following morning to take some details and arrange a visit. Karen Fogarty visited our home a few days later, she had clearly done a lot of research ahead of the visit and gave a comprehensive explanation of her valuation. She had several other example properties that Oakfield had recently sold in the local area (detailed on a large tablet) and left us in no doubt at all that her valuation was fair and accurate. We have since decided that it isn’t quite the right time to move, but when the time does come – we will definitely be reapproaching Oakfield. I would thoroughly recommend their services! :)
