????? My experience with this letting agency was extremely disappointing. The handling of my tenancy deposit was frustrating from start to finish. I had to repeatedly chase for updates, supporting invoices and the return of my deposit. The undisputed portion of my deposit was only returned after numerous follow-ups, and key invoices were only provided months later. The most concerning part was the cleaning. I specifically used the agency’s recommended end of tenancy cleaner and paid over £200, including an additional amount after the cleaner inspected the property, to ensure the property met their expected standard and to avoid exactly this type of dispute. Despite this, I was later charged additional cleaning costs through my tenancy deposit. To make matters worse, the cleaning company later informed me that they were forced by the letting agency to raise an additional invoice for the extra cleaning. As a tenant, it is impossible to understand why I was expected to pay the cleaner directly and then effectively pay again through my deposit for further cleaning carried out by the same cleaner. Overall, the process lacked transparency, communication was poor, and I was left feeling that the system was heavily weighted against the tenant.
