After recently selling my house through Luscombe Maye, I can honestly say that Rebecca and the whole team went above and beyond what you would normally expect from an estate agent. The communication throughout was excellent, which was particularly important during what became a very long and stressful process. Nobody likes being kept in the dark, and Rebecca and the team were always proactive in keeping me updated and chasing buyers, solicitors and the other estate agents involved in the chain. There were several points where I genuinely thought the sale might fall through, and if it wasn’t for Rebecca and the team’s persistence, hard work and determination, I doubt I would have got to completion. Avoid this Lettings agency at all cost, they do not keep up to date with legal requirements for rental properties eg; provision of carbon monoxide alarms etc. Communication extremely poor or non existent. They will not repay your deposit back at the end of the tenancy. Had to get a statutory declaration signed by a local solicitor and sent to the Deposit Protection Scheme in order for the deposit to repaid in full.... Read more
