We were purchasing a house through them, and when the original chain broke down, they were calm, reassuring, and incredibly helpful while everything was being sorted. Their support made a huge difference and we eventually got our dream house.<br><br>A special mention to Mollie and Julie, who were both absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were always responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping us achieve the best outcome.<br><br>We would highly recommend J Lord to anyone buying or selling a property. We’ll definitely use them again if we ever decide to move again.
28th Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)AVOID GILSON GREY. No issues with the estate agents, but if they recommend Gilson Grey as your conveyancer, don't do it. I've never met a more useless bunch of "professionals". I've spent more than 2 weeks and 30 phonecalls trying to get someone to send in forms for my LISA deposit, a 5 minute task. Can't complete my purchase until then.

Special mention for Steph who was my main contact, she was unbelievable. Kept me updated at all stages, was professional, understanding, supportive and also great fun too. I have already recommended Steph to a close friend who has shared similar experience to myself. OUTSTANDING

Ryan was professional, knowledgeable and very approachable throughout the whole process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, talked me through the current market conditions in the area, and provided honest, well-reasoned advice rather than just telling me what I wanted to hear. The valuation felt thorough and well researched, and I never felt under any pressure at any stage. Communication has been great, and the overall experience has been smooth and straightforward from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ryan and the team to anyone considering selling in the area.
2nd Oct 2025 (24 weeks ago)Very little contact between Client and agents during the 20 week contract, no discussions or suggestions put forward by the agents as to how the property could be made more attractive to potential buyers, i.e price reduction, more advertising etc. We had 2 viewers in 20 weeks of which neither were a fit for our property.- 17th Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)Lauren, mortgage advisor was amazing start to finish, very knowledgeable, will definitely use Lauren again at winsford branch, thankyou.

5th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)I am just sold a house through Latham Estates, I just wanted to share my experience . Debbie and the team ( special mention to Aimee ) are really great. The whole process from start to finish has been excellent. I was kept up to date regularly on the progress and the team contacted the solicitors in the chain as well as buyers and sellers , which was great and meant information was always accurate and timely . I would highly recommend using the services of Latham Estates if you expect great service and helpful people.

16th May 2022 (3 years ago)Booked an appointment to go see a unit we were keen about, 2 other people also took time off work. We arrived onsite to no one to show from legat Owens, and then the landlady arrived to ask us what we were doing as the unit has been rented out for the last 3 months. So thank you legat Owens for completely wasting our time and letting us book time off work for a unit which isn’t for rent.

28th Feb 2026 (18 days ago)I have just put my house on the market with this agent and the experience so far from first contact the advice, support, regular updates and availability has been excellent UPDATE SOLD very complicated sale but thanks to these amazing agents their dedication and support it happened thank you for keeping me sane Update 2025 This is the third time we have asked Wheatcroft and Lloyd to be our agent. I have never worked with a company who are so professional yet 100% supportive and caring. Fran, Debs and their team are there for every step of the way, never a call not returned promptly even after office hours. A complicated sale made easy for us because of their skills. Would never use anyone else and 100% recommend.
