17th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)Beware when your purchaser takes out a mortgage through your estate agent Would like to give zero but not allowed . In my opinion Ashbourne Bagshaws Residential protected a so called ‘hot buyer ‘ to the detriment of my sale. Helen (manager) lied to my face and said sale was going well . All the while she knew the so called ‘buyer’ had no mortgage or buildings regulations for a conversion ie not proceedable . Nor even had they 5 weeks later carried out the security checks for conveyance . I lost property after property . This is now a law suit and far from me being a tricky vendor the purchaser were not proceedable at that time. Over 4 months later l withdrew as still no Exchange . Connells the owner of Bagshaws Residential were willing to completely forget their duty to me in favour of this so called hot buyer . They were happy to let this go on month after month until the purchaser was able to proceed. In my opinion it is dishonest to favour a buyer because they were purchasing their mortgage through Connells .

Sara at Haywood's estate agents talked everything through, and kept us updated every step of the way. She was cheery, helpful, and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business with her. From the viewing, throughout the process (which was incredibly quick!) they have been absolutely fantastic! Simon and the team were brilliant and kept us informed throughout each stage! My family and I are very happy and would highly recommend Bridgfords to anybody! Best agents in Stafford Thanks so much!
1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

There were no ‘extra’ charges for services e.g. 360 room tour; as we have experienced with an other estate agent. Their eagerness to sell our property, attitude and communication were top notch - and a special mention to Bethany. Extremely happy with the service we’ve received.

Thank you for taking the time to reply but looking at your previous responses to other disgruntled customers, you appear to be not the best at taking criticism nor accepting poor performance on your part. 26th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)The communication was absolutely terrible. They were good at the valuation and slowly things started to go downhill after that. They rarely responded to my emails, even when I wrote my concerns in them and often said they'd call me back, but didnt. They didnt even ask me if I wanted to do the viewings myself or not, it was just expected of me. I told them I did not want any boards put up on the property but someone still came to put one up. They got some things wrong in the listing they put up and didnt even check with me beforehand to see if it was accurate.

Andy & Nicola are immediately responsive & so easy to contact, they prioritise weekend viewings & are very flexible. I couldn't recommend them more. They sold our house & we moved within just a few short weeks which was incredible! Thank you both for your dedication & personal service.

We have used several different estate agents over the years, Wheatcroft & Lloyd are by far the best. They are so friendly, helpful & will go above & beyond without you even asking. Superb customer service which is a rarity these days. Our purchasers, who came for a 2nd viewing, mentioned how impressed they were with Wheatcroft & Lloyd & how they are so much better than their own agents. Would recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their home.

That did not matter to Mike he was helpful sorting things out for us too. We gad a wonderful welcome care package from Mike when we moved in. Such a wonderful thoughtful touch. I'd recommend anyone to use Mike Bailey from Ewe Move.
