15th Mar 2026 (3 days ago)The WORST customer service I have ever encountered, and it seems I very much dodged a bullet. I recently went to view a rental property, agreed to pay 12 months rent upfront and a provisional move-in date, signed the tenancy, paid the 1st month's rent and damage deposit in advance (rest on sale completion), and was advised to call back within the hour to speak to John to arrange key collection 48 hours later. It wouldn't be a lie if I told you that John, also the Area Lettings Manager, is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. In the 1.5 hours, he sat opposite me arguing, I was told to shut up and be quiet twice (his actual words). I was shouted at. I was called a bully because I wanted to know why all four staff members had failed to call the landlord or myself back the day before. I had questions ignored. I was lied to when I asked if the calls were recorded (even though other staff members have confirmed they were). I was laughed at. I was also told (with a big smirk on his face) that he had advised the landlord to re-market the property if I hadn't completed and transferred the balance of 17k by close of play the next working day and would now not be allowed to move in, as agreed. It appears the poor lady I had spoken to on the phone was only a trainee and shouldn't have dealt with my call. Feeling backed into a corner, I advised the landlord I would withdraw my application. The property is now back on Rightmove and empty, and WHB needs to start all over again with viewings and referencing and refund my money. This is only a snippet of the complete mess it’s been from start to finish. The landlord and I have raised formal complaints, but am I surprised? No. I have never heard anything good about them, and their staff turnover is incredibly high, but look at how their Manager treats people.
28th Feb 2026 (18 days ago)Great experience selling my Dads bungalow in Swaffham. The whole team bent over backwards to help in every way they could. In particular Tony and Emily who I dealt with the most were amazing and very professional as well as being kind and considerate. They were a great help as I lived over 2 hours away from the property and I was able to leave most things to them to sort out. I would highly recommend them for selling and I am sure purchasing a property in the area. Many thanks Ken.

The staff were all very professional and helpful for both my sale and purchase. During the day of completion they kept me updated and everything ran smoothly in the end. 25th Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)On behalf of the estate of the late Neville Garner, would again like to sincerely thank the team at Sowerbys for their profession approach in completing the sale of the final property in the estate ie Tall Trees, Saham Toney. Starting with Louie on getting the initial sale closed thro to Terie Hurrell in handling the sale through to completion which certainly hasn't been easy given multiple purchases & properties involved in the chain however Terie's tenacity has again shone through ensuring completion onetime. Again thanks to everyone

Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.
8th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)The support of the estate agent was the most important part of this sale transaction for me, because I was selling the property as Executor for my father's estate, and I live overseas. Therefore I needed a trustworthy, professional, diligent estate agent, with reliable swift communications and effective marketing skills. Haart in Dereham fulfilled all of these requirements admirably, and I was delighted with a smooth and successful transactional outcome. In particular, I must mention Elton the Manager for his enthusiastic attention to the initial listing and creative photography skills which showed the property in excellent graphic detail. And also Roxy the sales administrator, who was always on hand to coordinate between myself, the buyers and the conveyancers. Her friendly, polite and efficient support was priceless! Overall, I unconditionally reccomend the Haart Dereham team for anyone who is selling or buying a house in their area!

3rd Jan 2026 (11 weeks ago)I can’t say if no viewings within around 6 weeks is an agent issue or the market in general. Regardless of that, communication was fine. Can’t comment otherwise as had no need to deal with them other than initial marketing.

With special mention to Hannie Theobald who kept us informed, updated and who handled negotiations and other parties involved with true care and attention. She definately goes above and beyond, and I believe the chain would have broken several times if it was not for her ability to listen, and find solutions. She is everything an estate agent should be, and more.
6th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)I just exchanged today after a very long complicated and hence stressful sale. I honestly believe the sale wouldn't have happened without Lucy Skerry's negotiation and people skills. I highly recommend Lucy and The Norfolk Agents if you want to sell your house.

They were warm, approachable and always quick to respond whenever we had questions. Buying a property can sometimes feel stressful, but they kept communication clear and helped keep everything moving smoothly from start to finish. They were particularly helpful during the final stages leading up to exchange and completion, helping keep everyone aligned and making sure the process progressed as smoothly as possible. 22nd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)I have contacted a person called Tom parish at Savills in regards to getting a valuation for a piece of land. Advising they would look at it! Waited for several weeks,slept getting fobbed off! My circumstances had changed so needed valuation with urgent but still very casual about things! No communication whatsoever!!!!:Thought this was a reputable company???? Would not recommend what so ever!!!!!

27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)We found a house we wanted to buy and so we were under pressure to sell to make our move happen. Ollie understood this and worked with us to get our house marketed ASAP. Contact was efficient and only when necessary, and when we got to the the negotiation phase Ollie was helpful and helped us get the deal over the line. We're now in our new home and the Norfolk Agents definitely played their part!
