We experienced ongoing issues with repairs not being addressed (a bathroom light remained broken for several months after a leak). We were also asked to conduct viewings ourselves before moving out, which we did not feel was our responsibility. On moving in, there were also cleanliness issues, including mould in the washing machine drawer and cupboards left full of cleaning products from previous occupancy. We later found these same items referenced when deductions from our deposit were discussed, which was frustrating. Following listening to a conversation with friends about how much their property was worth I thought I would check the value of mine. I had no intention of selling it in the near future just curious. I rang several estate agents and, once I explained why I wanted to know the value they were not interested. W.H.Browns name popped up and so I called them. They were so pleasant and arranged for someone to come out at my convenience. The young man was very pleasant and polite and after doing all the relevent checks gave me a quote. He went out of his way to put me at ease as I live alone and even stayed a short while for a friendly chat.
