17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

22nd Apr 2026 (16 days ago)We've just listed our house with Reeds Rains in Rye. We were almost certain which estate agent we were going to go for prior to the valuation but completely changed our minds by the end of our first meeting with Guy de Vyea. Detailed valuation, very clear communication and just an all round nice chap. When we were ready to list, he took photos and video including drone footage and we were blown away by the quality of what was put together. Everyone in our families that we've showed it to has said it is on par with Escape to the Country! Absolutely fantastic. Could not recommend more.

However, Stuart and Emma were exceptionally helpful and nothing was a problem - exactly the kind of “can do” attitude that is becoming increasingly rare these days. Thanks are thus due to the pair for dealing with what has not been a straightforward sale.

17th Dec 2025 (20 weeks ago)Asked if it was possible to get a all be it large reduction on a rental property per month if I were to guarantee the rent for 4/5 years and was sent a very passive aggressive response from the lettings manager Edward Gailey “so just to be clear you’re offering X for a property listed at X per month?” Unwarranted response when he could have just said that this wasn’t possible on this property and then could have suggested some other properties in my bracket! None the less they have lost a tenant that was about to let 4 properties in one go! Oh well, maybe some customer service training wouldn’t go a miss for Mr Gailey lettings manager?

That gave us the confidence to put our own house on the market with them, and it was definitely the right decision. They handled the viewings brilliantly, provided regular updates, and kept us informed throughout the entire sale process. Their professionalism and support made everything run smoothly. We found them doing a google search as we were selling a rather unique property! Having been convinced that we would go with a big local name, instead when Simon Stone came to complete a valuation our choice was made. Simon’s very real enthusiasm for properties outside the norm is tangible and he really convinced us he could sell the lifestyle that came with our property rather than just the size. I’m so glad we did go with Simon. He secured an offer really rather quickly and then passed us over to the wonderful Hannah to handle the sale. Hannah worked wonders in a sale affected by one of the chain being hospitalised with Covid-19. She kept pushing everything through and we completed by Christmas. So, we cannot recommend Unique enough. If your home is a little different from the average they have the insight to really market it as you would want and the tenacity to push a sale through in difficult circumstances.
