19th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)My husband and I bought a house through Charles David Casson a couple years back and they were the worst part of the process. Their communication was poor from start to finish. They recommended the worst solicitors, DO NOT go for the solicitor they recommend. They failed to adequately arrange viewings and made the process HELL. At several points I had to request their manager to intervene, who was equally useless. If you enjoy stress and headache, you can go for them. If the seller had not been so lovely and accommodating, we would not have got this sale over the line. We literally did all the work whilst they twiddled their thumbs and wasted our time. After the sale went through, they’ve been harassing me periodically to give a valuation of the house- in case I want to sell. Haunting me even to this day.

They are still the same bunch of people who will try to rip you off on every single occasion. Please avoid at all cost. There are plenty good agencies out there
4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)How many of you can say that you contacted an estate agent on a Tuesday and by the following Tuesday you received confirmation that your property has provisionally sold? I can. David Burr visited my house discussed details and value, measured up, took photos, produced a brochure, identified and contacted prospective buyers for a viewing which proved successful; all within a week. This was due to the professionalism of the team at Castle Hedingham who I found knowledgeable, personable and helpful. So thank you to Tim, Richard and Gemma who kept a tight grip on the process and enabled my move to be conducted smoothly.- 26th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)Emma was an absolute pleasure to work with through the purchase of our property. We had around 30 viewings in the first week with several offers. I was kept up to date at every stage, we had a buyer pull out and the next day they had another buyer at the same offer ready to go. Special mention to Joshua who did the valuation , he made me feel at ease straight away and I trusted he could sell the house quickly. The whole team are really friendly and easy to get in touch with.
