Im 62 yrs of age and never sold a house before (lived in same house since got married) so when my mum passed away I was left in a fortunate position where I had a house to sell. As I had no previous experience of selling, I asked my friend to accompany me with the valuation appointments. After 2 appointments which we both agreed undervalued the house and seemed only interested in a quick sale one very eager for me to sign there and then. So we decided to try Hunters Estate Agents Hillsborough Helen arrived and all of a sudden felt this meeting were different at last someone who treated this house with respect and compassion it deserved after all this was our family home for 57 yrs and held a lot of memories and Helen did just that treated it like a family home and not a commodity. Without even going to detail re charges knew we had already made our minds up ????. The charges were very very reasonable and she even sorted a solicitor out for us in our case used Taylor and Emmett who again cant fault on the price they charged and the first-class service we received from them. The marketing of the property was excellent from the brochure, photos and viewings think we got 18 views in first week and numerous offers. From middle April to 22nd September all now completed form start to finish excellent communication from Helen, Lauren and Emily nothing too much trouble all in all excellent service. Think for me to sum this up if you looking for an Estate Agent do not look any further than Hunters Hillsborough.... Read more

We had 4 agents to evaluate our house and although they were all efficient there was one that stood out from the crowd. Melissa from Morfitt Smith was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the type of potential buyers, realistic about the asking price, and we felt that the service from a local agent would be more suitable for us. Once we made the decision to use Morfitt Smith, they were very quick to arrange the photographs, which were amazing, and to list the property. We immediately had a lot of viewings arranged and received several offers straight away one of which we accepted with their help and guidance. The communication was fantastic, by text and email, we were kept informed of everything by Lauren, our dedicated contact in the office. We're now looking forward to a smooth process through to the exchange of contracts.
