1st May 2019 (6 years ago)After meeting with three agents, De Scottia were the chosen agent for a number of reasons. First being they were not pushing for a hard sale. Secondly, the agent quickly took note of the living situation with my elderly mother and took on board my comments of how fragile she is and to liaise with myself. He was brilliant from the start. Very easy to get hold of, prompt and efficient. He explained everything to us and was more than happy to explain anything we didn't understand without making us feel silly. Our agent was happy to get his hands dirty and move boxes (and a large bed!) to get the photos he needed. When we went on holiday and he needed access he ensured he understood the alarm system and sent me texts whilst away to keep me update and assure me the alarm was put back on. Fantastic service and really pleased we went with them. Our agent gave us honest feedback and we had an offer within 2 weeks. So far the sale is going through smoothly and I would highly recommend.

30th Nov 2025 (15 weeks ago)Russell is a professional, an excellent communicator which is such an important part of this process. Regular contact is key- especially if solicitors don’t always seem to consider their clients as the “most important”. He does! It can be a long emotional and draining sales process especially with multiple chains so this was very welcome. He is responsive, he cares & above all had our best interests at all times. An experienced estate agent, ahead of the game & we wish him well building his own business. We are sure he’ll be a great success through referrals & his “can do/ will do” positive attitude.
