We viewed a commercial unit in March 2025. We liked the unit and so were asked to put forward a proposal as there were other interested parties. We were then asked to put forward a further best and final offer. Following that, over one month later we have never heard from Alder King, despite chasing several times. Incredibly rude and unprofessional.

I spoke with someone called Emma regarding a property I was interested in for more details. Shockingly she said I need to send them my bank statement first to make sure I have funds before they can go ahead otherwise they won't waste their time on us. The day after I asked a friend who is English to call them and she was completely different and arranged a day for viewing. She wasn't just rude to me but obviously racist and that shouldn't be tolerated and thought I should bring that to attention of other customers like me. So be prepared for such an attitude

Please stay away from them if you are a tenant. They suck up for the landlord and would do anything, even faking and fabricating evidence if that benefits them. I'm speaking from experience and giving you a tip before you use their service, STAY AWAY

NEVER DEAL WITH THIS FIRM. THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT RIP ME OFF. MAKE SURE YOU READ YOUR CONTRACT. I HAD AN OFFICE AT CASTLE GATE BUSINESS PARK THE OFFICE I HAD WAS ALREADY RUN DOWN. IN THERE CONTRACT IT SAID I HAD TO REFURBISH THE PROPERTY WHEN I LEFT. IT HAS COST ME £3500 TO REFURBISH A PROPERTY THAT WAS IN BAD SHAPE ALREADY. TO TOP IT OFF ALDER KING SENT ME A FURTHER BILL OF £1200 FOR THEM TO CHECK ON THE WORK CARRIED OUT.

I rented a commercial property through Alder King Castle Gate Business park. Although I didn’t read the contract carefully I was notified after my lease ended that I had to refurbish the entire office. In normal circumstances I would not have any issues with it, but the office was already in a poor state when I moved in. They are now making me replace the carpets and re paint and decorate the entire office. If they had put brand new carpets in when I originally moved in and I damaged the carpets I would fully understand. But the carpets had Stan’s on before. Be aware of dealing with these sort of rentals as I feel it’s a way of these firms to screw you as much as they can. Do not rent a commercial property from Castle Gate. Always check your contract.

really bad service, was asking to view a place but they can't even set up a meeting without asking for further info, and they never even call back, asked another friend of mine to call and report a higher income, they gave info almost immediately , discrimination .... not using it ever, i have better service in mcdonalds
