I have known this agent for about 15 years. Very reliable, great management service. All staff works hard to ensure all tenants are looked after, especially Paul. I cannot thank Darling enough. She showed us the flat and checked us out. She has the rare quality of bringing positive energy to all around her. She is a great asset to Alexander Lewis.
Alexander Lewis dealt with all the rental process professionally and with great communication skills.
There were few issues which mostly got resolved over 2 to 3 months. We were patient and understanding. Unfortunately it took over 2 months for our deposit minus an amount we had offered a few weeks earlier to be returned to us. The main reason being disagreement over the Checkin and Checkout Inventory.
As a result of this experience I have decided to insist on Checkin and Checkout Inventory to be done in my presence should I need to rent a flat again from any agent.This will save a lot of time and effort during the tenancy for both tenants and agents, trying to address discrepancies and inaccuracies, and most importantly will result in coming to a fast mutual reasonable agreement after the checkout. It should not take over 2 months for deposits to be returned. For us it was the first time this had happened.
I still recommend Alexander Lewis. The team are all professional and considerate. Always responded fast even on the few occasions I contacted them over weekend. Always willing to help.
We appreciated the viewings for potential future tenants were arranged in a very considerate manner with ultimate respect for our privacy.

My experience with Alexander Lewis, and in particular with Ali, has been nothing short of exceptional. The best real estate agent I’ve worked with! Incredibly helpful, responsive, to the point and efficient. I moved at the start of the pandemic and despite the pandemonium, my move was smooth and without difficulty due to Ali’s help. I would highly, highly recommend him and the agency to anyone looking to deal with properties.

Good experience overall. Ali was our point of contact throughout the process of renting our flat and he always went over and above to be there when needed. He's a practical guy, and straight to the point. Giving 4 stars as things weren't necessarily as smooth as they should have been, however I believe this really wasn't due to any ill intent but simply a couple of small omissions. Would recommend, especially when compared to other agents out there I've had the opportunity to deal with.

We want to thank Ali for his exceptional support over the last two years. When we first met in 2018, we had just moved to London and had never rented in the UK before. Ali and Paul went above and beyond in helping us find and prepare the flat in which we now live - they exceeded our expectations all around! Super streamlined legals, fast referencing process and approvals using digital signatures, superb attention to detail in landlord/tenant communications - nothing falls through the cracks: on move-in date the flat condition was perfect and just as specified. Alexander Lewis also employs their own skilled handyman who can pop by for urgent fixes rather than waiting days/weeks for external contractor - a must-have service! Truly impressed all around.

The agency helped me find a flat year and a half ago (thanks for the great agent, Ali) but apart from that they are terrible. They were super slow with my initial documentation and once I moved in and had questions about things that were not right their response was ''we are let only - deal with your landlord''. Great, but when I left they didn't forget to take ''termination fee'' from my Gov protected deposit (without asking permission to break the deposit). I wonder what service you provided to me during the years that actually justifies that fee. I am glad that last year the Government banned all estate agencies to charge these unfair fees because a ''let only'' agreement should be considered ''let only'' all the way. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

I first connected with Alexander Lewis while abroad, and Ali was very professional and accommodating to all of my requests-- and I found my flat very quickly, which is a relief when you're new to the country. Good location near Kensington and quite. 3 mins’ walk to the Tesco supermarkets. Very convenient.
Well equipped gym + swimming pool + sauna.
I did enjoy the one year living here. The agency is located right opposite the property, can always get a quick access when stuff in the property need to be checked or fixed. Stuff there are kind and nice.
