I’ve just exchanged on my home in Harringay. In a difficult market, Paolo of Anthony Pepe had a clear pricing and sales strategy from the outset that I believe was the key to a successful sale.<br><br>The brochure and photography were excellent, generating strong interest and plenty of viewings, which led to five offers.<br><br>When an issue arose with one of the offers, Plan B was put in motion and quickly produced a solid buyer at what felt like a very fair price given the slower market and uncertain economic climate.<br><br>Paolo came highly recommended by my neighbours, who had recently bought through Anthony Pepe<br>, and I can see why. Throughout the process he was cheerful, professional and consistently quick to reply to emails and WhatsApp messages.

When arranging viewings, the team was very responsive and set up back to back appointments over a weekend for us, even driving us from one property to the next. I had a very disappointing experience with Anthony Pepe in Harringay.<br><br>After viewing a two-bedroom flat, I promptly sent all the requested documents, including my payslips and passports, so my eligibility as a prospective tenant could be assessed.<br><br>The following evening, after hearing absolutely nothing from the agency, I had to call them myself before they closed. The agent who showed us the property, Atlanta George, casually told me that she had received the documents but “didn’t really understand” my payslips and asked me to complete a more detailed form instead. This form could and should have been sent to me from the beginning, which would have avoided unnecessary delays.<br><br>I completed and returned the form immediately. Three days later, I still hadn’t received a single update—no phone call, no email, nothing. Once again, I had to contact the agency myself. I spoke to one of Atlanta’s colleagues, who assured me he would check the status of my application and call me back the same day. That call never came.<br><br>I completely understand that referencing and tenant checks can take time, and I have no issue providing any additional information if needed. What I do have a problem with is the complete lack of communication and professionalism. As a prospective tenant who is ready to rent and has provided everything requested, I should not have to keep chasing the agency just to get a basic update.<br><br>The whole experience made me feel like I was begging people to do the job they are paid to do, despite being a serious applicant with all the necessary documents and the financial means to rent the property.<br><br>Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Anthony Pepe Harringay or Atlanta George. A simple update or better communication would have made a huge difference.

We recently sold our house through Anthony Pepe and at every stage they were responsive, personable and practical — exactly what we needed.<br>Our sale was not straightforward. We'd previously been with another agent who did little to manage our buyer, failed to do their due diligence, and left us chasing them constantly. We knew second time around we needed an agent who would actually work for us.<br>From the moment we met Paolo, we knew Anthony Pepe were different. He was brilliant — engaged, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in getting us the right outcome. We listed with them and didn't look back.<br>Over the course of the sale we lost two further buyers through no fault of Anthony Pepe. The first fell through because we couldn't align on timing and hadn't yet found a property to move to. The second collapsed after a survey revealed we needed a new roof, which understandably caused the buyer to withdraw. Through both setbacks Paolo remained calm, supportive and proactive — keeping momentum around the property and ensuring it never felt stale on the market.<br>When our final buyer came through, the sale progressed smoothly from offer to completion. Samantha and the admin team were excellent throughout — keeping everything on track, chasing where needed and making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. It was a real team effort.<br>We would not hesitate to recommend Anthony Pepe. In a process that can be stressful and unpredictable, they were consistently on our side.

From listing to having the money in our bank took just 2.5 months; from their contact book, we received three offers at our (ambitious, top-end) asking price within a week.<br><br>Their fees were slightly more than other agents we spoke to, but vindicated by the results - you get what you pay for.<br><br>Particular mention goes to the communication and level of service - nothing was too much trouble. I had some photocopying and scanning I needed to do - they let me use their office; I was out of the country, and they popped in to check the property was ok periodically, and sent on my post. He held my hand through a year-long process of planning renovations, marketing the property, and selecting new tenants. 2026: I originally reviewed Anthony Pepe 4 years ago. I’m updating this review following more recent dealings in 2025/26. Theodora at AP, handled a property compliance matter (EICR and PAT testing) for my flat over a difficult period spanning December and early January 26. The work required coordination between tenants, engineers and external vendors under time pressure. Throughout, she was professional, responsive and practical, proactively arranging access, exploring alternative engineers to avoid delays, and keeping me clearly informed at each stage. Her communication and coordination materially reduced friction and made a complex process far easier to manage. 2022 review: Professional, Supportive & Available. Always kept me up to date on viewings and felt they looked after my interests rather than their own. Understood market conditions and made recommendations based on that and my needs.

My flatmate and I have recently signed on to rent an Anthony Pepe property. It has been the smoothest process I have ever had finding housing in London thus far! Chris kept us in mind for properties that suited our needs and directed us towards two that week that were perfect for us (one of which we signed with!!). I have used Anthony Pepe for the sale of my house and for the purchase of my new flat and I have been impressed with their professionalism and support. The person dealing with the sale of our house was Paolo. He was very efficient and very good in providing me with information about the whole process of selling and then looking for a flat for myself . His advice and support have proved invaluable and his friendly and calm approach for me has been huge in navigating a process that could have been a lot more difficult and stressful. Paolo was always willing to answer your call or email, at times well into the evening .<br>I am very grateful for having been able to sell my house and then been lucky enough to find a flat which they were managing, even though I sought viewings with other estate agents during the process. This was fortunate as it probably made the whole process smoother. So thank you very much to Paolo, it has been a bit of a rollercoaster for the last 6 months but you have made it easier to navigate and we are almost there , not long before completion for both sales, so thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. I just to moved to England from Japan and I didn’t know anything about renting a flat here in the UK but Anna who works there helped me so much. I was always late for everything because I worried too much about everything but she makes everything clear and really helpful. Even on Saturday, she was very nice for booking for the viewing of the flat. I think she is one the of the best renting agent even compare to Japanese ones. Also my English isn’t perfect but she tried to understand me and I recommend to rent a flat there and you are lucky if your agent is Anna. I was a pain but always kind and I appreciate a lot and if I move to other place, I hope she can help me again.
