   Would give them 0 stars if I could, don't waste your time with these fools. Chris is by far the most idiotic and incompetent letting agent i've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. We (me and my boyfriend) were in our flat about a year. We left as it was just completely uninhabitable and made our lives a misery being there.<br><br>Our biggest gripe with this flat were the windows. All metal frames, window sills were rotten and the seals around the glass had wasted away, plus the windows never shut properly so air was always coming in. In winter, it meant we had constant mould problems all over the flat and water literally dripping down the walls because it was constantly cold, despite heating the flat for a few hours a day. We asked for new windows and the landlord never went through with the repairs even though multiple window companies and Brian Thomas' own contractors said it was essential to have done. A window fitter came over FOUR TIMES to measure and get a quote so it wasted our time massively. I find this behaviour absolutely shocking from the landlord, but not unsurprising letting your tenants live in a flat so cold you could see your breath because you can't be bothered to fix the windows. Chris accused us of not heating the property which simply isn't true. Then in the summer, the living room which faced the sun all day reached over 30 degrees at times and we had to use the spare bedroom instead as it was uninhabitable. Although the windows were not Brian Thomas's decision ultimately, we took Chris to the Property Redress Scheme due to his complete negligence to address this issue properly and take it to the landlord / chase him which took over 6 months for any resolution. He never provided any evidence on his end as a rebuttal (because he never answered his emails) and we won the case by a landslide. Thanks for paying £550 towards my holiday!<br><br>Getting our deposit back, he took over 2 weeks to respond to our emails about vacating the property with evidence, we left that flat in better condition than it was presented to us in. They said they "needed" the closing bills (against the law by the way), we sent them and then it was radio silence. We had to get a statutory declaration form sorted and eventually got the money back after 2 months. Such a joke.<br><br>Chris, you are a disgrace and you should be ashamed of yourself for the way you treat your tenants. Illegally withholding money from people who did everything they were supposed to and left the flat in great condition is beyond unacceptable behaviour. NEVER go with Brian Thomas if you want to save your sanity, I'd rather be homeless than rent with them ever again. Chris is known to respond to these reviews with a half arsed attempt at a witty comeback, it'll give me a laugh if nothing else to see what he has to say.... Read more
