Just a warning I would not use these companies. From my experience of the Haverhill branch of Balmforths estate Agents and leading up to their CEO. I have been lied to, Mislead, Ostracised, poorly advised, emails and requests have been ignored. And clearly they have not treated me equally in the sale of our joint owned property. The property has clearly not been marketed correctly and it was advised by the branch manager to except £125,000 less for the property when the first offer was made. This was later denied by the branch manager but later proved to be the truth. I made a formal complaint directly to the CEO and I was asked to follow the complaint procedure they have. Total waste of time and still waiting for stage 2 response. I have asked for copies of emails between Balmforths and my ex partner and her solicitor Adam Harrison and they have all refused to disclose any emails. You have to question if you have nothing to hide why not simply disclose them. I have further concerns with regards their involvement and help to gain a court order and then further implications and the use of the court order in favour of my ex partner. I have informed all involved of this review and I have informed Balmforths any denial of the above would be a further lie, all I get from them is we are complying with the court order which they have used for my ex-partners benefit.... I had my house on with Balmforths, Haverhill branch for 4 months. Initially I had a good level of viewings and then it died off. The agent I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I can say is that out of all my viewings, I had only 3 or 4 feedbacks. I know this could be down to the viewers not providing any feedback but it would have been helpful to know this.... Read more
