Following was my experience. Might be different for others who bought the property from this agency.
Pros: Bought a good property from them, nice interaction with agent/s till payment was done.
Cons(first time buyer didn't check thoroughly, my fault too. Moved in property after 4weeks):
1. Had heard from agency that property is deep cleaned, but they can't provide details about it. Properly dirty, behind radiators, under the cabinets above the cooking area also dirty doors.
2. Lawn and hedge not trimmed. Everything overgrown.
3. Fume hood not functional and bulb filament broken.
4. Owen smoking fumes.
5. The sales process was characterized by intense pressure to complete the deal without delay, effectively overriding our conveyancer's agreement to a revised timeline. This left us feeling unheard and powerless in the transaction.
6. Post-completion, the communication breakdown has been stark. Emails consistently go unanswered, making the request for this review ironic. While individual agents may be absent, the assigned agent's prolonged unresponsiveness to our queries is simply not acceptable.
I have attached images detailing the issues encountered, though I was unable to upload videos but sent to agent.
Although I acknowledge a more thorough pre-handover inspection might have been prudent, it is a fact that everything on the property was in perfect working order before we took possession. The problems began immediately thereafter.
Consider forgoing the buyer's orchid and card. Such superficial gestures are a poor substitute for competent service and responsive communication, and the funds could be better allocated.
The agency will reply will look into this or willl review it. But have had similar response but they don't do anything like always.

When moving into a studio with Belvoir, be prepared to be shoved in a broom cupboard with a camping stove in one corner for outrageously high prices!
You can also enjoy a rude money grabbing landlord who will refuse to do anything about declining housing standards:
Cockroach infestation?
Leaking pipes and slow drainage?
Unfunctional toilet?
Blinds hanging off the rail completely failing to stop any light?
Collapsed bed and mattress?
Who cares about such little things as "the law" and "human rights", we at Belvoir want you to suffer.

I have been renting with Belvoir for the past 2 years then I have purchased a flat with them.
I have found the communication smooth almost at all times and the staff was helpful and reassuring. I even got a flower from them “as a thank you and sorry we got delayed”. I have not tested or collaborating with all the agencies outthere, but I am pleased to say that Belvoir was a good suit to me. Already recommended them.

I have been really impressed and pleased with the wonderful customer service at Belvoir. Jessica handled my viewing and paperwork and her and the team work so cohesively that whenever i called to ask something, if Jessica was out at a viewing etc the other team members were just as helpful. They were patient and kind everytime I called (i was eager to move in asap). Very professional and work quickly to get tenants in. I have also used the services provided by tenant shop and let alliance via Belvoir and have been happy with that too.

Viewed a property on monday morning with this Agency. Informed them im intrested and was told i'll recieve a email that same evening.
Once i did not recieve a email i called them on Tueseday (next day) to enquire if i am still being considered.
I was lied to by one of their un professional agents who said his sorting some parking details with the landlord and will email me immidiately after.
This people lie and probably have complete disregard for peoples time as I never recieved a email and the property was given to some other tenant
I do not understand why I was lied to as i would have looked for a different property the very next day.
Shame on people who work in thier swindon office as they are un proffesional and provide people with misleading information.
Terrible agency to deal with.

Hayley Mcgarry from Belviour has been an absolute star. When i viewed a property for rent with her, full PPE was worn and she showed myself and my friend round twice to ensure that it was what i wanted. When i told her about my current circumstances, she not only got my references done faster than it normally would, i moved into my new place 5 days after viewing! She also checked in almost everyday to ensure that everything was OK. I had full updates every time something happened and she was happy to find answers for my questions. She's an absolute star and hands down does her job to the best of her ability. Cannot thank her enough!

To start off with, I had to call them multiple times to get through to a human to book an appointment, when the day came around, we drove 1 hour 30 mins to see the property only for noone to show up to show us around, when we called them they said the agent arrived there, which was false but they couldn't get through to her and said they'd call us back if they were to reach her. 5 mins nothing. I called them back they said they'd call me back and to stay put where I was. Nothing. It is now an hour and 15 mins since that last call and every call attempt I have made has been blocked and sent to voicemail, Hailey was supposed to be the person meeting us. I don't feel they care about their customers or even potential customers.

She was on top of everything from the minute we put in an offer, and kept us informed every step of the way, regularly badgering both sides' solicitors to make sure that the process ran smoothly. Had my viewing arranged for one day and that was turned down less than 24h before the viewing. Claiming the person who lives in the flat is ill. (saturday). Got rescheduled for monday (had a confirmation email) only to find out that I was basically forgotten about. Second time in a row I was let down. If thats what is happening with viewings I dont want to find out what is it like to let with theese guys..... Honestly I have no idea where all the 5 stars came from as I have been treated, well, unprofessionally is a very nice word to be used.

All dealings with Belvoir were via Poppy who was brilliant. My initial enquiry phonecall was followed by a meeting at the property I wanted to sell about 20 minutes later!
Poppy's enthusiasm and energy did not tail off throughout the sale process. Progression updates were always regular and thorough. She was always available to chase/discuss/answer questions.
Our previous sale, with another estate agent, fell through. I'm so glad we chose to go with.. Belvoir.

Reviewing Belvoir, Swindon Branch:
After troubles renting through a different letting agent and also through private renting, we were at a loss and had lost faith in the rental system, but needing somewhere to live we wandered into Belvoir.
We met a wonderful young lady named Poppy and we talked through our situation.
Poppy initially offered us some advice on how to deal with the situation we were in without us even having decided to view any properties.
We decided as she had been so gracious in helping us that we would look into the properties they had to offer and she found us the perfect one very quickly.
We have now completed the process and secured a property that we will be moving into shortly.
Poppy has been great through the whole process and handled everything professionally. She was very easy to stay in contact with and kept us updated every step of the way.
Poppy went above and beyond for us, and not only her, but every member of staff we have spoken to within Belvoir has been polite and helpful.
Poppy and her colleagues have restored our faith in the letting system.
I couldn’t recommend Belvoir more highly!

I was nearly put off the search for my very first home after being met with a number of pushy, rude estate agents that seemed only interested in selling something and didn't care if it matched what I was looking for or not. That was before I viewed a property through Belvoir, and was supported by Poppy.
Poppy actually listened to what I was looking for and the 2 properties she showed me, she knew about without having to refer to the paperwork details about the houses. She has gone out of her way to support me through the whole process, being on hand to answer my millions of questions.
If you want a personal, friendly, professional estate agent to help support you with buying, selling or renting a property, I couldn't recommend Belvoir enough.

Belvoir Swindon is the best place to find a perfect home and get amazing after service. We feel very lucky having them as a great helping team finding our nice home. Its not a concidence that we rented our second place again through them. They do not conclude their job after agreeing with the new place but they keep supporting on any issue you might face in the property. I don't think you would find similar support in another place. The properties they have in portfolio is great as well as the communication they have with you. Ask them and forget about it, it'll be done perfectly. From the first time I met Poppy I felt a warm connection. Little did I know that she was a classmate's of my eldest daughter and had family in the same Italian village as us. That's how good she made me feel from the start. Very warm and friendly, always smiling. This was not an easy purchase and that was all down to my circumstances. Poppy worked so hard to smooth things over and get the deal done. I think it was her personality that won over the concerns of my seller and as I said the issues with the sale were all at my door and not Belvoir's. She communicated with me on a regular basis and was always there for a chat. Today she rang me and sang down the phone to say we had completed. I must of been a nightmare for her, but she was so sweet and professional. I picked up the keys and she gave me a beautiful basket of flowers. Initially we thought they were different from other estate agents but found in the end they did not tell the truth. We were told face to face by by the agents that in the property we were buying they had cleared some of the loft and in their words “there were a few Christmassy items left up there”. 2 of us have so far spent 5 hours clearing the loft, filling an entire mini skip at a cost of £200 with years of rubbish from clothes to a mattress, old school books, tv’s, boxes etc and have still not cleared it. I have photos to prove and a tradesperson witness who helped with clearance. Added to this, the shed was also full of rubbish and the garden has more rubbish and will need another skip to clear everything costing another £200 to fully clear what should have been already removed. I guess that will teach us not to be so trusting next time!

Poppy has been absolutely brilliant conducting our move. Her positive, bubbly attitude on the viewing made it so enjoying and she really made us feel comfortable despite our previous bad experience with another company. Poppy was so helpful and catered our every need. Even the small niggly ones. She was efficient in her timing for sending paperwork and communicating. Belvoir as a company have been so reassuring. The paperwork that we filled out and signed made us feel confident and happy. We feel that the whole dealings and process of Belvoir is outstanding and I would 100% recommend to a friend. Firstly our sincere apologies for the long over due review!
We are a couple from London who rented out our property via Belvoir since April last year and pleased is not the word to say the least!
We had so many up and downs with the last minute purchase of property( sellers ) and if it was not for Mathew time, patience , first hand knowledge of the rental property market I truly believe we would have given up on this purchase for sure!
However Mathew explained everything in detail outlining all the pros and cons , supporting us from start to finish and giving us hope that we could make our little dream possible without all the headaches of traveling back and fourth from London to Swindon!
There have been an occasion or two where Mathew has had to be present near the property last minute and even that was taken with a pinch of salt!
All the team have been very professional with up to date payments , statements and answering - replying promptly to any questions , queries, that we might have
I only wish Matthew and team were in London as we have no hesitation in highly recommending them
They are an agent who go that extra mile to help you and all have a brilliant understanding along with empathy and kindness!

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAQUE!! They make plenty of promises then go back on their word once you are in a property of theirs. You're then stuck in a hell hole of a house for a year with them refusing to help get heating, double glazing, carpets and bathrooms fixed so that it's suitable for living in. They lie and treat you terribly so avoid unless you want to be treated like this!!

Got to be the worst letting agents around in MY opinion. They gave out keys like candy to children to our home to non CRB checked contractors, who let themselves in my home and walked in on my half dressed wife and poorly children. They came and went from our home anytime they saw fit, never keeping appointments. When we complained they defended their actions and never once apologised. When we got burgled by a paedophile out on licence for attempted murder, their attitude was "tough", they never offered us any help or support, we had to contact the landlord to request the locks got changed, oh and they still wanted to hand out our keys and come and go whenever they liked after we got burgled.
They've never once apologised for their actions or the way they treated us and to top it off, when we were due to leave, the landlord said he was gutting the house so not to bother cleaning carpets etc, even though we still did, they still claimed money for carpet cleaning, knowing the carpets had been removed from the property and thrown away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If after our experience with Belvoir Lettings Swindon you are still willing to rent or let from them MORE FOOL YOU!
We were eventually awarded compensation by The Property Ombudsman Scheme due to Gross Misconduct by Belvoir lettings Swindon.
