Had a valuation appointment for my late father’s property cancelled at the last minute, with the agent telling me she had ‘the lurgy’ as though it was a hilarious joke, when I had travelled 2 hours and taken time off work. I explained that I wouldn’t be rearranging the appointment due to the circumstances, and asked for my details to be removed from their system. I then received an extremely self-important reply (in breach of GDPR law, at this point) telling me why they were in the right and I was in the wrong, and failing to express any compassion whatsoever for my recent bereavement. I can honestly (and thankfully) say I have never had an experience with an estate agent quite like this one.

Really happy with everything with Bishop. I was under a lot of pressure from a lawyer to vacate my former abode, owned by my late mother (my home of 44 years) and was in a very emotional and anxious state when I first contacted them. I was made to feel very welcome in their office and Tessa helped so much to help alleviate the obvious worries I had as she allowed me plenty of time to explain my situation and talk me through my options. She has a very calming and kind aura, just what I needed at that time! Further communications with other staff to were a pleasure also and once I got settled into my accommodation I was just left to get on, but I knew they were there ready to help if I needed them. No problems with getting back my deposit either with the DPS after my 14 month tenancy after trying my best to ensure I left it clean and tidy on departure :)

I can’t recommend Bishop estate agents enough.
They are always so helpful and efficient. On the odd occasion there has been a slight issue at my house Tessa or Gill have dealt with it immediately meaning I don’t have to suffer the stress .
They are all extremely friendly and approachable and I actually like to pop in and see them for an odd chat when I am in the high street .
If I need to email them then I always receive a reply from Tessa almost straight away even when it is out of hours .
If you are thinking of renting out a property or looking to rent then they are the people to go to!!

Excellent customer service provision. Bishop Estate puts customer first based on my experience with them over the years and especially with the recent management style where they split their charges into two to ensures the landlord earns some money at the end of the month instead of taking their fees outrightly and at once but are considerate of the landlord and also manages situation with the tenant very well as related to handling and fixing issues. Not many agents will act this way. This is a plus and they deserve a 5 star.

I was really impressed with how quick and easy tom & tony made the whole process. Even during this unprecedented time with Covid 19 pandemic, they have been great with assisting us. I have used bishops twice now for selling my own and my parents properties and I can not recommend them enough. Found them to be very helpful, reliable and professional, always keeping me updated with potential purchasers, viewers feedback and when under offer was always letting me know what was happening with the chain.

Very unhappy with how the staff deal with their clients. They offer rubbish customer service. I have called in regards to the property I was interested in and have been asked very detailed questions about me and then was told I will be called back. Nobody called me about the property I was interested in. When I emailed to chase them they were very unprofessional. The staff cannot be bothered to arrange for viewings. I feel very insecure about all the info that was taken from me with no intention to call me back for viewings. I feel sorry for the landlords who are obviously unaware of this. Stay away!
