Awful property management, a nightmare from start to finish, they favour their contractors -which are not local- difficult to engage (by phone, email) they won't answer, patronising, unexperienced, spent countless time chasing and finding out what was happening, do not support landlords, would have been better off managing the property myself, stay away!

I would like to share my experience with Andrews Orpington lettings.<br>I vacated my rental with Andrews in March and have only just received back the majority of my deposit after an absolutely awful time at a property that was never fit for rental.<br>Anybody considering renting with Andrews should be aware that in your hour of need, when water is pouring through the roof your call will not be answered, or returned.<br>Do not trust Andrews to act in your best interests.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Serap was extremely disappointing.<br><br>From the initial viewing, I found Serap quite dismissive and unapproachable. I explained that I was facing a Section 21 notice and urgently needed to secure accommodation, so communication was particularly important.<br><br>After viewing the property, I made an offer and was informed that the landlord would be happy to accept £1,650 per month instead of the advertised £1,700. I then asked Serap to liaise with my council, who were assisting with referencing and deposit arrangements.<br><br>Despite numerous emails from both myself and the council, Serap failed to respond. The council also attempted to contact her by phone and received no response. I sent several follow-up emails requesting an update and heard nothing. I even contacted another department within the company to ask what was happening, yet nobody got back to me.<br><br>What I find most unacceptable is that I was never informed that the property had been let agreed. After weeks of chasing for updates, I was simply ignored and left completely in the dark.<br><br>I appreciate that properties can be let to other applicants, and I would have accepted that outcome. What I cannot accept is the complete lack of communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy shown throughout the process. Being ignored while facing the stress of potentially losing my home caused unnecessary anxiety and wasted valuable time that I could have spent pursuing other properties.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend dealing with Serap.

Royal Mail mistakenly delivered my parcel to a property with a very similar address to mine (and actually left it at the door). Currently, no one lives there, but the parcel had been taken inside.<br>Today I contacted Andrews regarding this issue. I would like to sincerely thank them for their surprisingly quick help in resolving the problem. I called in the morning, and by the afternoon an employee from the agency had already gone to collect the parcel and personally delivered it to my home, for which I am very grateful.

Just completed my house sale, with excellent service from Khush and Paul. Got good advice throughout and, with me living abroad and the house empty, Khush very kindly went out of her way to set my heating for me in the winter, and it was turned off when it got warmer. They were also very security conscious on my behalf - much appreciated.<br>I've used their letting department since 1992 for the house, and the managed service has been excellent all the way, most recently by Stephen and Franklyn. Never had a problem that wasn’t taken care of quickly, even when I wanted new windows and the bathroom refurbished. Always had good advice and follow up of contractors.<br>Great service through 33 years by many people in both sales and letting. I highly recommend them.

Extremely disappointed with Andrews Letting Agency.<br>It has now been over a month since moving out and they are still holding onto our deposit with absolutely no communication. We have had to chase constantly, yet there has been no update, no transparency, and no urgency in resolving the matter. This has been handled very poorly and has caused a lot of unnecessary stress. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this agency.

Very bad experience as a Renter. They booked a viewing and didnt show up. And no one picked calls even the head office. Next day they said the agent got changed and the property has already got offers, but they are still to present to landlord and asked me to give a higher offer without the viewing.<br>This is the sad reality of Andrews letting. I hope property owners stop giving them their property to manage.
