The valuation of my property was too high - I queried it, but the manager assured me it was achievable. It wasn't - I had just two viewings. I dropped the price by £10k in the end, but by then it had been on the market too long and was looking stale. Bradleys also has a deal with Homewise, a scheme for the over-60s that offers a reduced price in return for an equity stake. I specifically stated in the contract that I did not wish to be included in the Homewise scheme. Despite this, my property appeared on Rightmove with the Homewise listing at £65k less than the full-price listing. It looked very confusing and made the higher figure look overpriced. It took three calls/emails to get the Homewise listing removed. Feedback was generally poor and there were no suggestions about to how to improve marketing.
