Amazing - went the extra mile! I am really grateful to Adele and the team at Charlesworth for going the extra mile. After struggling with a previous estate agent with a really bad experience and not selling, we decided to switch to Charlesworth. Their approach of a caring, local and knowledgeable estate agent was a complete contrast to the previous factory line approach we’d experienced. Around 6 months with a previous estate resulted in 5 viewers, 3 months with Charlesworth resulted in 14 viewers which speaks for itself. When we did get interested viewers, Adele went above and beyond to secure the sale. Moving house is unbelievably stressful and for lots of reasons it has taken us longer than it should’ve done. However, Adele and Charlesworth were a massive part of the solution after a bad experience with a different estate agent and really did change the outcome for the better! Dear Michael Isherwood. In response to your recent review. We feel that it is important to state the facts appertaining to this matter. The property in question is your mother's property. Your mother has now sadly passed away and your brother is executor to her will giving him control of her estate. Your brother instructed Charlesworth Estates to market the property having discussed the matter with yourself. An appointment was made for us to visit the property and start the marketing process. Prior to our visit we were advised that you may become aggressive during the appointment and for safety reasons we arranged for TWO staff members (one of whom is known to you) to attend. The process of marketing the property and timescales involved were discussed with you at the time and to which you agreed. A few days after the appointment you attended our offices and started shouting at the lady staff members in an aggressive manner, which of course is un-acceptable. I heard your shouting from my upstairs office and intervened due to your aggressive attitude and to also protect my staff members. I trust this clarifies the circumstances and puts matters into a more realistic perspective. The most unprofessional, undermining estate agents in westhoughton. Walked in to settle a dispute ammicably between 2 parties in the sale of my house. They have turned upto my house and put up a sign without my permission and tresspassed on my property and damaged my wall. I walked in today to tell them to take it down as they have posted pictures and put a sign up without my ask. As i own the house, which must be illegal to do without the owners permission. A man came from behind the scenes acting like a bouncer got right in my face in shockingly aggressive behaviour and the tone he was using was scarily violent. He was really rude started pointing in my face, started screaming and shouting right in my face. I then walked away from the situation. If you are a vulnerable person like myself they will take advantage of you if you are selling a house or renting with them. Please be very wary and stay away from these aggressive gangsters. There are much nicer estate agents in westhoughton who will not take advantage.... Read more
