Recently brought a property through Charringtons and I genuinely found them to be very polite, professional, honest and informative throughout the process. I speak as someone with above average knowledge of the industry and they provided exactly what I requested or were transparent when it wasn't possible along with reasoning and proposed work around. I would also say that they got the balance right between advocating for myself as the buyer, the seller and getting the sale over the line with expediency. There were multiple issues with this exchange that needed ironing out and they were able to effectively liaise between the buyer and seller to attain progress and at no extra cost to the seller via paying for another seller's pack. They were also able to assist with myself getting the keys to the garage before exchange completion which was a bit of a life saver as we were getting turfed out of our current property the week before. They were also able provide updates more promptly than our solicitors, particularly at the end as we were waiting for tenants occupying the property to vacate, which I believe they were managing also and assisted in finding them another property. I would also add that we settled on a price below the (high) asking price but still reasonable for the seller IMO (I feel I could have low balled in the current market if I was able to be sufficiently patient, so what we settled in I'd say is slightly above the market price). So a special thank you to Michael & Co at Charringtons and I would highly recommend to anyone buying/selling/letting/renting. Plus it helps that they are all good/friendly people too.

I have been renting with this agency since september 2019. They were all very nice until the diffult moments started. I had mice back during the first lockdown and they managed eventually to get me some work done to prevent this to happen in the future, not to mention that the job they have got done by their contractor is so badly made that now our under-sink storage lost half of the capacity. Our TV broke off suddently and they refused to replace it so I had to buy it myself. Only after I bought it myself then they offered me to replace it. Too late! We have been having ever since issue with the neighbor who refuses to pay the water bill, which I pay for the whole floor and they have done Nothing to help me with this. Now I have been sending email and messages since the 24/10 and none bothered returning to me. Unfortunately for me I love this flat, and with the difficulties of the pandemic it has been very difficult to find somewhere else up to our liking. But definitely this is not a professional agency. And i would not recommend it to anyone.

I have been living already 3 years in a pro party managed by Charringtons and it’s one of the best agencies in London. Very professional and polite people .
All the issues I had in the property were solver very quick .
Not easy to find this in London .

This agency is issuing illegal agreements and is subletting rooms, they try to kick you out of your home after 4 months giving you only two weeks notice via text. Gosia is extremely ignorant and has ignored all of our emails. Mike the manager has yet to respond to our emails which were sent two weeks ago. We have tried to contact the office to which John spoke to us very rudely and gave us false information. The whole service is appalling and has brought us nothing but stress. We are seeking legal advice.

Terri had the house sold before it even went on the market. She has kept us fully up to date on the movements between ourselves and the purchaser and was able to inform us on where we were at any stage with the purchaser's solicitor. We would definitely recommend using Charringtons and especially Terri. I feel she has gone above and beyond her duties to complete the transaction.

Charringtons sold our home and went above and beyond to make the process as simple and speedy as possible. Both Mike and Ray are very approachable and knowledgeable people.All the staff are helpful and friendly, particularly Terri who worked tirelessly and professionally to help us in whatever we needed. She spent alot of her personal time outside of office hours to chase our purchasers and keep the chain informed and moving along. She did far more than most agents would normally do. Always ready to answer any queries and always at the end of the phone. Very trustworthy - the management offer good advice about the best way to let in the first place. Terri takes great care to find a landlord good tenants. She keeps the landlord updated and does what needs doing efficiently and economically. A fair and effective balance between what the tenant requires and what the owner feels is reasonable. Quick to respond to phone or e-mail. A pleasure to deal with.
