We felt like like they were a truly effective team. I can't fault them. From Kyle who came to value the house, who spoke to use in a really genuine way about our history with the house and what we were hoping for. He clearly had knowledge of the local market (Tranmere). He was bang on the nail for the estimate v the sale price. He spoke about other agents fairly.
Then there was Cathy who was always so calming. She contained any anxieties we were feeling (which in my husbands case is no mean feat!). She was always so positive.
I haven't forgotten Ashleigh and Aimee who we spoke with or had email correspondence with along the way.
They even helped us along with our house purchase which was through another estate agent!

Unprofessional and amateurish.
Promised the earth when the agent came out to see us. Ended up with second rate photographs that looked like they had been taken on a cheap phone, one of the briefest descriptions I have ever read, and to top it all the contract is for 8 WEEKS not 6.
The agent took it very personally when I said I was going to try another agent and advised me that I should have done her job and wrote the description and changed the photographs.
We ended up taking the house off the market for the duration of the notice period.

Id hasten to add that the obstacles were of no fault of CW or their excellent staff. Indeed Amie and her team eventually managed to get the deal over the line through sheer perseverance. I cant commend the team highly enough - particularly Cathy Massey who was the main point of contact for the sale. Cathy was professional, courteous and efficient throughout. Most importantly she kept the conduit of providing information constantly which has been more than difficult due to the problems with the Pandemic over the course of the year. From the initial valuation, through to the completion date, the team at Clive Watkin Prenton were very professional and extremely helpful.
Our valuer Amie came out promptly when we decided to go to market & was quick to organise the paperwork & photos so we were on the market within a few days of putting the initial call in. She was very prompt, extremely professional & easy to contact when required.
From speaking with others who have used online EA's, I get the impression that the communication side of them is lacking and they can be difficult to get hold of at time. You may pay a little more with a 'traditional' estate agent in comparison, but it is worth every penny.
Once we'd accepted an offer (which was very quick from going to market) the team were very good at providing us with accurate and detailed information. Prompting us when required, but also being able to provide up to date information from all sides when we needed it. More that this, they were brilliant at offering advice to any questions we had.
A particular shout-out to Cathy at this branch who went above & beyond with any requests or questions. She made the whole process a lot less stressful (and fun!) than it can often be. She is a credit to Clive Watkin.
I wouldn't not hesitate in using Clive Watkin again based on my experience.

Although we were cash buyers and, as such, weren't employing this agent, we have nothing but praise for the way we were treated by all the staff at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. When issues were being dragged out, (by the vendor's solicitors, the only partnership I would say spoilt the whole experience, note to Clive Watkin end your relationship with Countrywide Property Services, they do you no favours!), we received endless patience and understanding. I would recommend this Estate Agent to anyone, (just don't use their solicitors or surveyors, however the fault is not theirs). 5 Stars doesn't do them high enough praise!

Awful communication. Left me waiting outside the property for 25 minutes with no communication. Turns out the agent had been there on time and just have simply gone past me on the way out with no attempt to ask if I was the client and no attempt to contact me on the mobile number I had left with them.
When I rang to find out what had happened there was no attempt to offer an apology for eating my time, they simply said "Oh, you must have missed each other."

I've had numerous dealings with the Clive Watkin Prenton team over the past couple of years from viewings and rental contracts to buying.
Amie P and Cathy M have always been friendly, courteous, responsive and knowledgeable, especially on a recent couple of challenging properties acquisitions. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, no matter how late in the day or last minute my request was.
On a separate note, their properties always seem properly priced compared to some other agencies seemingly inflated asking prices!
