It is right on the green. You often see the locals in there, suggesting it's actually part of the community.
The staff are always friendly and helpful, and I feel remembered, even though I don’t go in that often!

Communication is poor. Leaflets distributed along the road when we clearly asked not to have a board and didn’t even get a call to say we had completed and the keys had been released on completion. Not sure where the £5.5k goes to be honest as we’ve been asked the same questions over and over again and quite frankly, poor service.

After 18 wonderful years in our family home—where we had extended, upgraded, and created so many cherished memories—we reached the difficult decision to sell. With our daughter grown and moved out, with it just being us and our son we found we no longer needed all the space and decided to take the next step in our journey.
Not knowing which agent to choose, we sought recommendations from friends and neighbors, who advised us to obtain multiple valuations from well-known agencies such as Bovingdons, Savills, and Hamptons. All came highly recommended, particularly for attracting buyers moving out from London. We had nearly made our decision when we remembered we had also booked an appointment with Crendon House. But as we had almost decided who to go with we nearly cancelled the appraisal with Crendons House, but we are so glad we didn’t
When Jon visited, we immediately warmed to him. He was professional, personable, and incredibly easy to talk to—without any pressure or sales tactics. His approach made us rethink our choice, not because of pricing (as all the valuations were similar), but because of the way he explained their marketing strategy and what we could expect. By the time he left, both my wife and I knew Crendon House was the right choice.
After confirming our decision with Jon, we were introduced to Liz and Jess, who shared the same professionalism and approachable nature. It was clear we were in great hands.
The selling process moved swiftly, with a series of viewings generating positive feedback. On the fourth viewing—within just four weeks—we received an offer. After some negotiation, we secured a price we were very happy with, and the sale was agreed.
The purchase of our new home, however, was not as straightforward due to challenges with the sellers. Throughout this, Liz remained patient, diligent, and supportive, ensuring everything progressed smoothly until we were finally able to exchange.
Over the course of the sale and purchase, we got to know Jon, Liz, and Jess very well—not only as exceptional estate agents but also as genuinely wonderful people. We now consider them friends.

Crendons overvalued our property and could not negotiate between my ex a reduction in price. They ignored my emails and would only deal with my ex. They changed the dates on Rightmove to make it look like it had not been on the market for long and reduced the price on my ex's instructions without any consultation with me to a price that was still far in excess of its value. They refused to deal with me and did not answer any of my emails asking for an update on the sale of the property.
