Disappointed, impossible to get an answer quick enough so keep missing out on properties. Have struggled to find a property in Cardiff and when I do and contact the agents they take too long to answer/will not pass all the details I put forward to the landlords.

CS properties are following the successful business model of the 2020s. Which is showing themselves as incompetent (which they are) while lying about whatever they can to get away with costs and responsibility. Dear reader, you surely know that if a landlord/agent wants to save money, all they have to do is ignore and lie. Its very hard to prove.
Lucky for them we live in a time like this when people are so desperate that they just take any property without viewing. Only a few did that a few years ago. Now you have to if you want a roof over your head.. Obviously they know this and take advantage of your desperation.
Hopefully the rental market will improve and they will have to change if they are to avoid bankruptcy. This is a review for the future, as I know that currently in 2022, you (the reader) will take the property anyway. I feel your pain.
I am one of the 20 who rent a house share, and saw the reply for the previous review saying that nobody had ever complained. Hilarious! They lie. Everybody complained at some point.
They also try to evict a disabled guy who rely on others to survive. Why you wonder? No reason or whatsoever.

Unprofessional would honestly be an understatement, in a Houseshare of 20 people not one single person had avoided being aggrieved by this Company. The Director Chris Spiteri and co should honestly be ashamed of their treatment of housemates and the inhumane way they communicate.

THIS COMPANY IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND CHARGE HIGH RATES FOR POOR SERVICE!
THE PROPERTIES ARE NOT SUITABLE OR TO A EXPECTED STANDARD, YET THEY WILL HOLD YOUR BOND IF THERE IS SO MUCH AS CLUTTER ON THE FLOOR .
THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO AVOID PAYING BACK A BOND!
EVERYTIME SOMEONE LEAVES A NEGATIVE, REVIEW, THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU ARE AND YOU ARE NOT ON THEIR SYSTEM! ????

Unprofessional, money grabbers! Absolute disgrace of a company and would never advise anyone to rent a property from them!
Take months to deal with maintenance issues - sometimes never actually do deal with them and then at the end of your tenancy charge you for them!
I have known 4/5 other tenants who have also had the same issues!
Have a habit of taking money from your bond for “repairs or replacements” and not actually having them done!
Rented a property from them for nearly 5 years and not once found them helpful with ANYTHING!

Avoid these people like the plague!! I have spent the last 2 months telling them that the section 21 notice they issued was not legally binding because the landlord was not registered with Rent Smart Wales, and they have argued, very rudely, that it was and would get proof. Now, they have issued another s.21 notice, trying to bind their tenant into staying there for a further 6 months, whilst hiking the rent by more than 10%, and providing no apologies for their incapable staff!!

Somehow, despite all the difficulties surrounding the Covid-19 outbreak, CS Properties' Taylor Cormick managed to find a tenant for our empty rental property! Fantastic communication throughout, and a huge amount of work on Taylor's behalf to get this done - when you're receiving progress updates by email at 11pm, you know how much effort is being put in to get the job done. Thanks again Taylor!!

I've been dealing with Taylor for the last week or so and have never dealt with somebody in this type of business that has been so helpful or efficient.
Every single step of the way, even in these unusual circumstances, Taylor has been clear, concise and delivered on every commitment or deadline agreed upon.
Taylor really is first class and I feel that CS properties are the best letting agents I’ve ever dealt with, meaning I’m more likely to continue to use them in the future.

Fantastic service from a fantastic company…
We sold our home through CS Properties in 2019. From beginning to end, they were so helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. Specifically, in terms of the sale:
1. The photos were incredible;
2. The description regarding the property was fantastic;
3. The price for the sale including floorplan and VAT was very reasonable;
In terms of the after sale service, CS were unbelievable from both the sellers (us) perspective, but also the buyers. CS went above and beyond during a difficult transaction, often acting as the linchpin to ensuring conversations were happening throughout the chain. Personally, we were struggling for any communication regarding our ongoing purchase but CS were ‘all over it’ and ensured that all in the chain were chased regularly for updates which alleviated our buyers concern and helped us form a relationship with our buyer.
The whole sale and ongoing purchase took 23 weeks to complete. As a family with 2 young children, we literally couldn’t thank CS for their approach to our sale and the additional support they provided us on our ongoing purchase. There were times when our patience wore thin but CS were always there to pass on our concerns and ensured we were able to get the transactions completed before Christmas.
A special shout out to Taylor who fought tooth and nail at times for us. But also a massive thanks to the rest of the CS team. Would definitely recommend them for sales/purchases to anyone looking to sell/buy in Cardiff and surrounding areas. Very reasonable, very easy to deal with, very professional and very supportive of all of their customers. As per the opening gambit, FANTASTIC SERVICE!!

Just in case anyone is looking to move in the Cardiff area soon, make sure that you're not using CS properties. I got my keys off them on the 9th of december, when I arrived at the house late at night I found out that I had been given the wrong keys to my room and had to spend the first night on the sofa. After 3 weeks of phoning up and asking what they can do to compensate they finally told me that I won't be getting anything.

Absolutely the most awful people to rent a property off nothing ever gets fixed on time when asked it takes weeks/months
Theh will do anything not to give your bond back but quick enough to chase your rent!!

I have used CS Properties for over 5 years. I live the other side of the country from my rental property and they have handled it from day 1. Without doubt they are a tremendously reliable company, the staff are consistently efficient, courteous, and pleasant to deal with.
When issues have arisen with the property they have been quick to alert me and manage the issue through to successful resolution.
Could not do this without them and they make the whole thing a professional and personal relationship. Could not praise them higher.

We are landlords living in Australia and have had our house rented out with CS Properties for 8 years. During this time we have found their services absolutely amazing. The staff are helpful, professional and always do their very best to resolve concerns quickly and efficiently. Being so far away it is a great relief to know our property is being well looked after and any questions we have are addressed promptly. Terrible company , rented for 3 years with these people who were based on whitchurch rd at the time, and never had anything fixed that went wrong at the property, and yet at the end of the tenancy they managed to scrape a list of damage together that meant they expected the whole bond !! , after numerous discussions and threatening us with court (which we gladly accepted but then it never materialised) we went to the deposit protection agency we were using at the time , and by now thier claim for damages had suddenly doubled, the dps ( not sure of the name of the deposit scheme at the time ) , after reviewing the mess that is cs properties awarded them nothing!
Greedy and untrustworthy are the only words i would use to describe them

Rented a flat for 18 months with CS Properties and we can't fault them. They've been great from start to finish! Very professional and always kept us updated with inspections etc. Just ended our tenancy and have been allowed our bond back would highly recommend and would love to rent off them again in the future

If I could give zero I would. Money robbing and unprofessional company. Went to a viewing with one of the agents who replied to all of my questions with 'i don't know I left my phone at the office'!!!!!! then proceeded to nod that my situation I was in was fine to put a holding fee down only to be ripped off and told that I had no chance in the first place AFTER putting money down. The money they say they "need" to do checks is wrong if you do some googling you will find it doesn't cost as much and they do not refund it if you fail the checks so they earn money off everyone with false hope. They will push you into believing you can get houses/flats so you out money down only to turn around and say that you had no chance purely because they want your money and they don't listen or care enough. Absolutely disgusting company. Unprofessional, unhelpful and a disgrace to have been in touch with.

I just had a bad experience with CS properties. They have cancelled my viewing of a flat twice, with 40 minutes notice citing 'an office problem', and today with 15 minutes notice citing 'double booking'. Not cool...

We have had our Cardiff property with CS Properties for quite a few months now and they were excellent in helping us get the property ready and dealing with a few maintenance niggles after the new tenants moved in. Honestly, the best agency I have found in Cardiff. I originally moved to Cardiff last August and I can honestly say it was a year of utter misery and hell thanks to our last home and agency (message me if you'd like to know which one that was as I highly recommend you avoid them like the plague!) From the moment I booked the appointment to view our new awesome flat, to going and then going through the process it's taken maybe just over a week and Kate & Emma have done everything to guide us through it with ease. They've both really helped us out and honestly when I picked up the keys yesterday it felt so good to have an agency that knows what they're doing, that seem like they are not just looking out for the landlords interests & i know if there are any issues I know I can contact them and get a quick response from them! 5 ***** from me! Have done and will recommend to any friends looking to move!

I recently purchased a property marketed by C S property. Working and living abroad you would think this a difficult task, not so. From the initial email enquiry [that was answered within an hour] we were able to organise a convenient viewing for my wife. Emma and Louise positively responded to all correspondence and queries leading to completion. Owning a number of BTL properties I have dealt with a number of Cardiff agencies, but none with this total professionalism. Should I be buying or selling whatever companies these ladies worked for would be top of the list. Thank you both.

Not long moved into my flat with CS Team. Must say extremely clean and tidy. Had a few niggles as you do when you move into a place, but these were very quickly and professionally dealt with. I spoke to Kate on a few occasions and thank you Kate for the way you dealt with any problems swiftly.. Don't know your boss Kate, but all I got to say is, whatever salary your on he should Double it. .....

CS Properties managed the rental of our property for a period between 2014 and 2015. The service provided by Emma, Chris and their team was second to none. No issue was too big or too small to deal with and they went above and beyond what was required on a regular basis.
In fact we were so impressed with the service provided that we also instructed CS Properties as selling agents when we came to sell our house. As anticipated, the service was excellent and the sale proceeded very smoothly and swiftly, largely due to Emma's efforts.
We would whole heartedly recommend CS Properties as both letting and selling agents to anyone in the Cardiff area and beyond.

THEY ARE A DISGRACE - Lived in one of their properties for 4 years - The 3 monthly inspections (yes, for 4 years they come round every 3 months..) found no issues. Then once we left, "conveniently" found enough problems in the house to take your whole bond. They are basically after ALL of your money and I would not touch them with a barge pole.
A friend of mine has used them as a landlord as well and is fed up of them through gross incompetence. So use them at your peril. They are trying to charge me nearly £200 for next doors cat scrapping soil onto the patio! And then accuse me of lying.
Never ever get involved in a contract with these people. Petty, unprofessional and they do not keep their word. Disgusting agency.

Left us to live with black mould for 6 months which damaged expensive furniture then claimed the mould was 'not dangerous'. Landlord claimed mould issue was due to 'damp caused by wet bikes' (really?) when the the real problem was the outer wall's integrity had been compromised due to cabling.
The ceiling of the doorway fell through last year due to heavy rain and its still not been repaired as of date of this review!
Don't waste your time.
