However, Davies & Davies were excellent from start to finish , especially Isaac, who you always felt had your best interest in mind. Gotta be honest.. We found these guys a bit odd. We booked a viewing at a Two bedroom period cottage which is advertised as a three bedroom. They are trying to say that the dining room is a bedroom ( Not good ) . Also on the day I asked the young lad showing us around over 15 questions about the property. His reply was “ I’m not sure, I’ll have to find out “ He obviously knew the answers to the questions I was asking, because he had mentioned that he had done loads of viewings on the same property.
Upon leaving the property we chose to stick around and found out all the answers from the next door neighbour. Everything we had been told was the complete opposite to what the neighbours were saying.
This gives us absolutely no faith whatsoever in using Davies and Davies as they are advertising 3 bedrooms when it’s clearly only a two bedroom and are sending staff to appointments that are avoiding questions asked about the property. Little wonder that the property in question is still for sale and has been for ages .. People are not stupid and have only got to look at Google or ask neighbours to find out things which you choose to avoid.
Not a great experience all round to be honest.

Nicky and her colleague Charlie came out to meet me at my home to collect a key for prospective viewings of my property. We negotiated the best days to suit me for viewings .
Nicky was very professional and knowledgable about the process that would follow in the advertising and sale of my property.
Nicky has kept in close contact with me throughout regards further prospective viewings, all other interest in my property, my home brochure which is pending my approval before going live on Rightmove and supporting me through the process of selling my house.

I have had the absolute pleasure of having Isaac Sarbatta from the Bradford on Avon branch assist me from start to finish in the sale of my house. Not only is he professional and efficient, he is also extremely personable, enthusiastic and reassuring. Throughout the sale Isaac went above and beyond with regard to his advice and assistance when difficult issue’s arose during the process.
I was let down multiple times by my solicitor firm and had no idea what they should have been doing and by when. My son and I were on a two-day visit to the Bradford-on-Avon area house hunting, so when we saw a suitable house in Davies and Davies window on a Saturday lunch time, we went straight in and asked if we could possibly view it that afternoon. I was impressed that Helen had no hesitation in contacting the owners, and arranging such a visit. She also arranged a second visit, and followed up on these visits, which many agents fail to do. Eventually I decided not to move at this time, which she took with good grace. If I were a vendor I would have confidence she would be proactive in my interest, and this was matched be her efficiency and prompt action for potential buyers.

This is a kind of interim review of Davies & Davies, Bradford-on-Avon.
D&D undertook to sell our property achieving that in very quick time. No-one could have foreseen that our buyers, without explanation, would pull out and now our house is back on the market still with D&D. The plan is to write a comprehensive review of the "office" once our future sale completes.
Now, however, seems a good time to comment on one very difficult aspect of an estate agent's job.
I am writing this because we feel Mr Sam Long deserves a pat on the back, a few pints in the pub and a "Davies&Davies" Medal of Honour.
Really. It was no small thing for him to have to ring and tell us. He knew how invested we are in our future new home and how critical our sale is to that purchase. Anyway, Sam was calm, very polite and re-assuring about ways forward.
Obviously we didn't like his message but, really, he delivered it very well and should be commended for his professionalism and great attitude.
Sam is a great asset to a great, hard-working team and we are sure a replacement buyer is in the offing.
I'll review again once that's happened.????

Just completed our sale through Davies and Davies Bradford On Avon. We were selling a family member's house who sadly died. Due to the house's condition, covid restrictions - and the fact we haven't sold a house since the 1980s (!) - we needed a lot of expert help and advice along the way. We are absolutely delighted with D&D, from first meeting with Anthony, and the ongoing help and updates throughout the sale from regular phone calls with Arnie, and also Dan, we knew they were the right company for us. They have a great local knowledge of the market, and are very friendly and easy to deal with. Also they thought a little bit outside the box to push the price up for us! Agents often come in for a lot of flack, can be considered untrustworthy & unprofessional but without a doubt the team at Davis & Davis dispel all these preconceived myths. From the moment we met Dan we knew our property would be in safe hands, the team worked tirelessly to find our buyer and we always felt our best interests were being looked after. Professional, ethical, friendly, conscientious and dedicated. Not the cheapest fee but why would you go cheap when your selling what’s probably your biggest asset!

I found the service I got from Davies and Davies was excellent when I was buying my home. I specifically dealt with Charlotte Gearey and she was so helpful and patient with me in my nervousness about making such a big decision on my own.
She responded quickly to questions and queries, and followed up and chased when asked to or saw a problem that needed sorting. She helped to make a very stressful time much more manageable and never made me feel like I was a nuisance! Thank you Charlotte.

My brother and I have been dealing with our late Mother's estate this year.
