A fabulous service from start to finish. Kingstons Trowbridge helped sell my late father’s house and could not have been any more professional or obliging. From the very beginning they were helpful, diligent, considerate, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We followed their excellent advice and guidance and achieved close to the asking price in a difficult market.
A special mention to Ben C, who was absolutely brilliant throughout. Kingstons are the number one estate agents in the area for a reason, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to other prospective sellers.

We had 2 viewings with Ben on Saturday and we didnt like the properties as much as we thought we would. Because of this, he has now said we can't view anymore until our house is "SSTC" absolutely disgusting. Its making the whole process longer than it needs to be for no reason.
Reply: Unfortunately I cant reply to your response. But as I said...our house is on going on the market this week. But now according to you thats not good enough. But don't worry i'll keep an eye on your customers and if I like a house i'll ask them to go with another estate agent so I can buy it. Thanks

Really amazing experience with Kingstons.
We initially went for a local competitor who struggled to get viewings through the doors (for literal months) and when we did get some, the feedback was poor. But after ditching them and taking on Kingstons we were sold within a couple of weeks and even viewings that werent succesful, it was clear they had a plan of action and feedback was constructive. We were really impressed with the entire team throughout but hats off to Ben who was our main point of contact - excellent work Kingstons and thank you!

We were in a chain with complex elements involved- Kingstons were very informative and proactively chased both ends of the chain as we were both buying and selling through them. We were on a timeline and needed a fast and reliable conveyancer- Kingstons advised us on an efficient and reasonably priced conveyancer who more than fulfilled our requirements. Kingstons (Ben Kingston and Caroline Bush) have just sold my late mother's property in Trowbridge. (This was an estate sale and was not a straight-forward one - there was no grant of probate, when the house first went on the market, it took 3 months for that to be granted, and of the two executors, one lives in Wiltshire, though not Trowbridge, and I live overseas in a completely different time zone.)
From the outset, I've appreciated their sound commercial advice and approach. In a falling market, they managed to find a buyer almost immediately. They worked with both executors and the purchasers to ensure that the sale proceeded smoothly and to everyone's satisfaction, right down to meter reading just before completion (as none of the family was in the area to do that at the time). They kept both my sister (who lives in Wiltshire) and me fully informed at all times and ensured that we were both involved in all decision-making.
I'm happy to recommend their services if you are looking to sell in this part of Wiltshire.

I would like to let you know about my very disappointing experience with Kingstons estate agents.. I travelled from London by train to view a house in Hilperton. The journey took a little longer then expected, (over 2 hours) due to signal failure’s, I arrived at Trowbridge and couldn’t see any taxi’s. It was raining… I called Kingston’s and they told me to google a cab company? I did this and I was told there were no cabs available for at least 45 mins.. I called Kingstons again and told them this. They couldn’t have been less interested.. I had to ask them to call the vendor to let him know I would be late.. Considering the selling market is slow and Kingstons offices are just around the corner, to drive me to the property would have taken them 10-15 minutes at the most. I was frankly astounded by their lack of professionalism. I would seriously advise anyone who is thinking about allowing them to market their property to think again!

Update as of 2022. They have done it again. Thanks to everyone at Kingston for aiding with the final part of my sale during uncertain economic times.
Having bought my house from Kingstons just over 2 years ago, who better to sell part of it after converting it to 2 flats than Andy and the team. After the photo's and brochure were done and approved I had 2 offers on my property at or above the asking price within 48 hours, after acceptance the sale went trough swimmingly. This is partly down to their knowledge of what had been done to the property and the respective title splits, which gave the buyers the peace of mind that the transaction would be seamless.
As well as this they also know reputable local tradesmen's should you need them for any work doing.
If I am buying or selling I the area again I will be back to Kingstons

What does this tell you.

Very quick turn around of getting professional photographs taken and getting this online and the same is to be said for selling my house - all happened very quickly. We were not entirely impressed with Jackie, especially when it came to communication. I mentioned on several occasions to contact via email not mobile, this did not happen, when asked as to why, it was because they did not "have my email".... it would be logical to then ask a customer for their email, rather than ignoring a simple request. Pressuring people into not doing something for a fast sale is not professional, as well as harassing people to do something they are not comfortable with is not ok. I am personally glad this was not our chosen estate agent, only our vendors. I would not recommend using Kingstons

I can’t speak highly enough of all the staff at Kingstons. We invited a couple of Estate Agents to value our property and felt that Kingstons provided a very professional, friendly and consultative approach in the valuation of our property. We were over the moon when they booked a number of viewings and consequently sold the property within 4 days!
We were slightly under pressure to find our new home, our buyers had no chain and wanted to move in quickly. Ben C and the team worked tirelessly to keep us up to date on new properties entering the market and we purchased our perfect home within 2 weeks of selling.
Throughout the sale and purchase process Jackie kept things moving and was in contact on a regular basis to ensure the completion date was met. The process from sale to completion was just under 9 weeks and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I hope to not move again any time soon but if we did Kingstons would be the first people we’d call.

The 5 star average is so well deserved... we sold our house, for the asking price, within a week and exchanged today with relatively little stress. Jackie and Ben were great. Ben started lining up viewings before we even agreed to list with them and was immensely positive from the off despite a "slow market". Jackie was great at keeping us updated and talking to our buyer on our behalf, especially helpful when the other sides solicitor was dragging their feet. I would absolutely recommend using Kingstons, the rates are fair, the service is great and their understanding of the area will get your property sold. Don't bother with disappointment bricks, just give Ben a call.

A friend warned me about how stressful moving can be and I told her I wasn't worried. I'll be honest, we've had some brilliant luck and some really bad luck in the past 9 months, but Kingston's were brilliant throughout all of the ups and downs. They are a really responsive team. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Having looked to downsize to a bungalow for some 2 years without success, we viewed a property through Kingstons who were very helpful. However, the bungalow was not right for us. Some 6 months later after we had given up any idea of finding a suitable property, we received a follow up phone call from Kingstons. They had obviously taken careful note of our requirements, and they were able to show us a property which met our needs. Our offer was quickly accepted, and we found Kingstons to be very proactive throughout the whole process. They gave excellent advice, and were also able to find a buyer for our property and agree a sale within 5 days. Having moved home 6 times previously, this was by far the easiest and less stressful move we have ever made.

A very helpful bunch as this was the first time selling a house through sad circumstances. They were understanding, and explained everything in detail which was helpful. I wasn't local at all, and they were great on the couple of occasions where I asked them to pop round just to make sure everything was okay, and also towards completion they took meter readings for me which was really helpful and saved me a very long trip!
The sale itself took ages, and there were a few times where there were minor delays in communication and responses on things, but overall Kingstons were great and I'd recommend to anyone in the area.

I began using Kingstons after 5 miserable months with Purplebricks had only brought three viewings and zero feedback.
I initially spoke with Ben who told me straight what my property was worth compared to similar on the market but more importantly I was in contact with a person who was interested in helping me sell the property.
Once my house was on the market with Kingstons I was in frequent contact with actual local experts who gave me real advice and feedback on how to make my property more sellable as well as getting the opinions of potential buyers to help drive the sale home.
Ben, Lewis and Andy all showed great knowledge of the local market but also dealt with me as a person and not a number unlike some of the online nationwide "local property experts".
The aftersales team were also brilliant and kept me up to date with how the conveyancing was progressing which kept me at ease during the finalisation of the sale.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend Kingstons to family, friends and the local public as they know their stuff, are well priced but most importantly they are interested in selling your property for you and not just taking your money!

All staff at Kingstons Trowbridge are welcoming, approachable, knowledgeable, flexible, efficient and reliable.
Ben and the team provide a great service and we were pleased with the quality and presentation of our property details and advertising in both local newspapers and online format. The photographer who took plenty of internal and external photos and also aerial shots with a drone is outstanding. We had plenty of viewings and interest from buyers both local and further afield.
When our home sold we were in a large chain that had its complications. The conveyancing period is a hugely important factor to consider when choosing an estate agent as it will inevitably be a very stressful and worrying time. Jackie and Emma helped to keep things running smoothly and were essential to ensuring that matters progressed and stayed on track for exchange of contracts.
Currently, online agents are rife, trying to entice you with cheap upfront fees but you will lose this money if you change agents when you are unhappy with their services. Ensuring progress to completion is the most crucial part of buying and selling houses. You will not get the same level of service and knowledge with an online agent as I have experienced with Kingstons. The other essential thing with Kingstons is local knowledge of people, property, location, surrounding area and facilities such as schools etc which can be priceless to a buyer and therefore should be deemed as a vital requirement when selling.

From start to finish we received a fantastic service from all the staff at Kingstons, Trowbridge. From the beginning, when we were house house hunting, the lovely Lewis would greet us with his personal charm and show us around. They definitely went the extra mile, especially jacki, who was constantly keeping us in the loop about our house purchase and Andy, our ladder-man in shinging armour, who went off and collected a ladder when we needed one!
All in all we received a professional and individual service from the Trowbridge Team (even though we weren't the ones paying them!) and we we would recommend them.

Have sold two flats in grade two listed building through them and they were fantastic.
Will always use small independant agents in future.
All the team were helpful and always had time to speak and advise me.
Had lots of extra issues with, setting up management company for freehold, getting plans drawn for land registry, right of way over courtyard and issues arising over grade 2 listing of property.
I used their in house solicitors and was kept fully updated through out.
I have been involved in a number of previous sales and never had as good a service.
I have no hesitation in recomending them.

The only agents I have ever dealt with who keep in touch with all parties in buying and selling and try to assist in making a stressful situation as stress free as possible. Very professional in how they handle their clients.
Would not use anyone else locally in selling or buying, also if you let your property their letting staff once again are efficient and extremely helpful to any prospective landlord or tenant.

Andy Langley and his whole crew in Trowbridge did us proud in selling my late father's bungalow in Corsham.

An established company which knows the area and is well equipped to offer advice. The staff are very professional and form good relationships during the sometimes extended process. In our case a sale was interrupted by a sudden need to apply for probate but everything remained calm and was dealt with smoothly. Fantastic service from all at Kingstons from start to finish. Not just with the valuation and securing the sale (which was probably the easier part with us), but with the management of the whole process to exchange and completion. A good Estate Agent will have the necessary staff and resources to chase solicitors, buyers, sellers etc and keep you informed at every step regarding the current situation with the chain. Kingstons have this and it's value should not be underestimated.

I do not write reviews very often but the service we have received from Kingstons has been absolutely fantastic. Our house sale was particularly challenging due to a footpath dispute that lasted for over 2 years (!) but Kingstons supported us throughout this.
