From our first viewing with Amreen the process has been super smooth, Emily was really helpful with the onboarding and Amelia has been wonderful at progressing the sale to enable us to complete on time! We received regular updates and were able to keep communication going to keep things moving!
Would definitely recommend and will use this branch again in future as everyone was really cheerful, friendly and helpful!

We bought our house off Dixon's, Kings Heath in September and moved into the property last week. I had to come and write a review (as soon as I can see amongst the boxes) as we were SO impressed with Amelia and her team at Dixons.
From the initial viewing to the completion date, Amelia has been nothing short of remarkable at ensuring everything went through in a timely manner. She was always on hand to help communicate between ourselves and our sellers, and she was like a dog with a bone helping us to exchange- when our soicitors were no help at all. Honestly had it not been for her tenacity, even saying "I WILL get your guys exchanged before I leave this building tonight"- we don't think we would have moved before Christmas. This is the type of estate agent you need on side! She's a real asset to the company.
I can't also forget to write about her team Emily and Amhreeen, who were so lovely and professional throughout our viewings - always greeting us with a warm professional, friendly manner. They are all fabulous!
I would (and have) recommend Dixon's to anyone. We cannot thank them enough for helping us move into our dream home ????

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Dixons King’s Heath
I’m based overseas and initially appointed Dixons King’s Heath as the sole agent to sell my property, after speaking with Amelia and reading their reviews I was feeling confident in their service. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a waste of time and incredibly frustrating.
Communication from the team was consistently poor, multiple broken promises of calls and emails which I had to chase up. Despite requesting a rental evaluation three separate times, I never received one.
Over four months, I had only three viewings, while other nearby properties in worse condition were being listed and sold. I appreciate they can't dictate the market, but something wasn't right, my property is on a street of multiple identical apartments and approximately 4 went up for sale (for the same price as mine was advertised) and sold in the time I had minimal viewings.
When I raised my concerns, the updates I did receive felt meaningless, I had requested better communication not irrelevant communications — comments like “liked the property but has to wait for theirs to sell” or “liked it but not the right area” did nothing to move things forward. Frankly, it left me questioning whether the viewings even took place.
I also asked for my property to be removed from their listings and the sign taken down, yet this took over a month to complete.
Since switching to a new agent, the difference has been night and day — excellent communication, three viewings, and two offers within two weeks of listing.
I’m extremely disappointed by the service I received from the King’s Heath branch. For an agency with such a long history, this office certainly does not represent Dixons at their best.

Emily's valuation was spot on, thankfully we listened and went with her advice about local house prices, stamp duty etc and were very pleased with the offer we finally accepted.
Ahmreen was on time for every viewing and very responsive to texts making sure she passed on any appointments or changes to viewings and as a result no viewings were missed or time wasted.
Finally Amelia in the office was so on the ball with replying to emails and very patient having to explain more than once about identity checks etc and what the next steps were which was very reassuring to us!

Exceptional service from Emily, Ahmreen and Amelia From Dixons in Kings Heath
Emily turned out to be spot on with her valuation and advice on selling our property and proved to be very effective in arranging all the different aspects needed to get the house advertised and matching us with buyers so that very little time was wasted.
The office is very busy so its mostly a case of leaving a message but Amelia was very efficient at returning calls and emails were almost immediate. I'd like to thank her for her patience too as I asked some questions more than once especially about the identity checks and processes etc.
A big thankyou to Ahmreen who turned up on time for every viewing and kept everyone informed of dates, times and changes to appointments so effectively and was very responsive to questions and enquiries from potential buyers.
I chose to use the conveyancing team Dixons reccomended based in Hastings called Conveyancing Direct and would like to thank Olivia Brook for an outstanding service! Efficient, helpful and great communication that kept us up to date and informed throughout the whole process from start to finish.

This was our first time selling a property and it was very emotional for the family, as our mother died at our home. We grew up at the home we were selling with many fond memories. Gave 1 star as was not able to give no stars. I rang the office on 17/7/25 at 16.51 and arranged a visit for 13.00 today to carry out a valuation. No-one turned up!!!, wasted over 2 hours waiting around. They did not have any record of appointment. If a company cannot be efficient when they are dealing with potential new business then god knows what the service will be like once they have your money.

Really let down by Dixons - received notification that they had cancelled my valuation less than a hour to go. The reason given was the person’s car couldn’t start…she couldn’t come in any other way apparently and no one else was available to come around and do the valuation instead. Emily was unhelpful and didn’t seem to care. The focus was on their employee that she lived far away and had a baby…if she had taken a interest in the customer I.e. me, I could have told her that I’ve got a baby too with me and had to travel to my mum’s house to do this valuation. But she wasn’t bothered about that. Unprofessional and a major inconvenience as I had lined up three valuations to be done in time for application of probate. Will not be using them in the future as they have proved to be a business you cannot rely on, and I wouldn’t recommend them.

If it wasn't for the guys in kings heath I don't think I'd be in my new property and can't thank them enough. Ian and Dejan were both amazing and helped me through the whole process of buying. Would recommend using their internal solicitors as I didn't have luck with external solicitors which caused a delay.

Recently bought a property through Dixions Kings Heath, and Harvey & Dejan are fantastic, I wish I’d thought to sell my property through this branch because they are incredibly helpful. Dejan originally showed me two properties on my new road, he was really knowledgeable and friendly with no condescension, something I came across a lot while viewing properties, and he followed up on queries for me after I’d had my offer accepted. Move forward a few weeks and as the ‘joys’ of the legal process finally looked like we were getting there I wanted to go back to view the property, remind myself what I bought check some basics etc before moving in. Harvey arranged for me to see the property again, he was incredibly helpful and patient as I went through my list of things to check and make a note of, followed up on queries I had with the buyer and arranged for me to go back again when we didn’t have keys to access the back garden. They were great, really lovely people and very helpful, can’t recommend them enough.

He and his colleagues were always highly professional throughout our sale, returning our calls promptly and keeping us updated regarding viewings and feedback, with valuable advice. We were unfortunate in that 2 potential buyers pulled out (just a change of circumstances, like so many people), but as Dejan had interested potential buyers waiting we had a good offer within a week of the second buyer pulling out and have just completed. I made several calls over a period of a week to make local enquiries, however on each occasion it went to voicemail after ringing out. Today, the phone was answered by someone called Jake and after a brief conversation the phone call was terminated. I called back immediately but no response, not sure if this is a reflection on the service or modern day tech. No skin off my nose!!!

Don't give these cowboys a property to sell. I've tried to arrange to view a property for sale. I've called over 10 times and no answer. I've also sent number of emails through Rightmove and not heard anything back. Dixons are useless and no good for nothing.

Absolutely appalling service. Viewed 2 houses with them. put an offer in on the first house, which they said the vendor had accepted. I even had my decision in principle, ID and all of the other relevant paper work. which i forwarded to Dixons. However, soon after they advised that another buyer had put a higher offer in than mine, despite assurances that if I provided all of the relevant paperwork such as my decision in principle and the vendor accepted my offer (which they did) that a memorandum of sale would be issued within 24 hours and soon after the property would be taken off the market and no further viewings conducted and a sold board placed outside. However, this was clearly lies as the same house which I put an offer in for, still has a for sale board outside 2 months later. Thinking maybe that there was issues with the vendor, I proceeded to view another property with dixons and to put an offer in on that property for the exact asking price as advertised. However, I never heard anything back after putting my offer in and no further communication was made despite me chasing dixons several times. I have now used other agents such as connells who deliver a much higher level of service than this bunch of cut throat con artists. Avoid purchasing a property through Dixons, they actively encourage gazumping and lie through their teeth.

Appalling service . Wanted to view a house and on the first contact they were more interested in trying to sell me a mortgage deal as well as trying to get me to view other properties instead of the one I had asked to view. Then a few minutes later they called me back and basically accused me of lying stating they could not find any details of my sold property. When I questioned them the person basically said I was lying about the fact I had sold my property. I still had not heard about a viewing on the property. Its understandable that if you purchase a property funds need to be ascertained but to call a prospective buyer a liar and then try to dig details about them unsuccessfully just to view a property is unprofessional and out of order. Due to this experience I do not even think I would want to view nay of their properties even if I was interested in them . As a prospective buyer I do not appreciate being made to feel like a criminal

Bucking the trend in estate agency! I'd tried an onliner and then a conventional high street agent but no success. Dixons' fees were a little steeper but the customer service was superb. Adam Farrow in particular found a choice of buyers and negotiated a great offer. The transaction was then made as smooth as it could be all the way to exchange, and they even helped me find my next property. Well done guys!

Brilliant service! Monika, the Consultant, guided us step by step through the whole remortgage process. She was very patient, despite hundreds of questions from us, and always with a very positive attitude. FIVE stars for the most APPALLING service ever, Have to leave this review as no way to make a complaint and believe me I have tried. You can never get through on the phone, always an answer machine, normally 24 hours before a call back. I sold through Dixon's, to a buyer having a mortgage through them. However when trying to make offers on properties, Dixon's either didn't answer phones and agents had to leave messages, when they did get through, the tell me that one of the advisors would tell them I was sold but couldn't give them details of the chain as it wasn't his job. They would then have to wait for call back from another advisor, who I am told by several agents, was unable to confirm my buyers own selling position, or his agent etc etc. I eventually had to ask my solicitor to send a memorandum of sale to the sellers agent....Result, on the last attempt to purchase a house, after 4 days of trying to get info the seller of the property I was interested in took an offer from someone who had had position confirmed. When I tried to complain, I was obviously angry but assertive, Dixon's manager obviously could not handle an assertive woman and told me "I do not have to sit and listen to you screaming" WOW how rude and its a typical male comment to a woman, I am a client not his 'woman'. Luckily my phone was on loud speaker and my neighbour heard the whole thing, and I definateley was not screaming, the Manager just kept overtalking me. Unable to confirm my buyers position I withdrew. But there is one other thing, I agreed a fixed fee including VAT of £2500, as that was a figure I had been quoted with a competitor, I NEVER signed an agreement with Dixon's though and during a call AFTER I had sold they told me it was £2500 + VAT £3k... I am appalled there is no complaints procedure or numbers, no area manager ....DISGRACEFUL. I am now doubting if the buyer for my house HAD in fact actually sold his.

Excellent service at the Kings Heath branch for our sale from Adam, Dayan and Abi. We were going to go with another estate agent but their valuation was much lower than what Dixons advised; Dixons were adamant they could sell the property for a much larger sum + they exceeded this and we had multiple bids on our property which went over the asking price in the end. Excellent service throughout the process - would recommend them if selling your house in Kings Heath.

Awful service if you are a buyer...made an offer on a house for the full asking price and they didn't even have the courtesy to call me back to tell me I had been outbid...I found out that the house had been sold on the Rightmove website. Only interested in making as much money for their fees as possible, no customer service at all.
